I'm so so sorry Chan for what you went through, what your Mom went through. That's awful. I can't explain why you're siblings did that, took advantage, showed disrespect and little regard. It's garbage. It's a reflection of immaturity and entitlement. Takers do that and when you don't give, it's your fault and when you do give, it's never enough. I’m 10 years older than you. When I was 28, in the course of just a few months, I stopped talking to both my mum and my sister. This was after I had communicated to them ( individually as it was for individual reasons) how and why the way they dealt with me was no longer tolerable for my wellbeing. It was hard the first years. I never regretted it though. I never saw my mother again and she passed a couple of years after our break-up, aged 57. For me she had died somewhere around those days when she refused to acknowledge what was wrong and even harmful in her behaviour towards me and why. My sister was her golden child, so I was bad ( she used to tell me sometimes, no doubt here). I felt relief when she died because the days when I should and could have a loving mother but didn’t experience that came to an end. Obviously that was completely impossible now she was dead. I felt sad that she didn’t get to be happier in her life, but this was something I felt for decades before she died, so no difference there. I know my heart. I know how I care for and about others. I don’t feel selfish or cold for feeling relief although I was surprised how good it felt. Finally. It is a relief to not share life with my sister. It is a relief my own mother has exited my life. That’s what she has accomplished between us. BUT: I started feeling her energy and presence some time after her passing around me. If I got it right, she understood so much more from the other side and wanted to let me know. It’s hard to tell when you are not exactly used to being telepathically gifted, haha. Meanwhile she hasn’t been around in a while and I feel like she’s gone for good. I wonder why she made herself noticed to me - for my sake or hers? Either way it’s fine by me. I carry peace. All I want to say is, I have learnt: be kind, but kind and firm so you leave unkind people behind. That’s the best peace you can achieve …
