I used to think that these things were high maintenance but that's because I was used to being abused. Watching this made me think a lot about how I really just had low standards before and I want to have standards more like her. With the life that I've had a bad date is when I get beat up or other bad things. I'm looking into what is considered healthy by our medical psychological community and I find that the way I lived my life was not healthy before and I was making excuses for people because I didn't really love myself. When we love ourselves we have standards for our self and know who we are. People all have different preferences and needs and I believe in finding people that have similar preferences to me. She clearly wants somebody that's really respectful and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. If anything we need more women putting their feet down so that men actually improve themselves. Lol but for real I think that these issues hurt men and women because by allowing people to act this way and not speaking out they never realize what they're doing is wrong. Just because something is normal doesn't mean that it is healthy.
