Yassss and us women get blamed for being the talkative ones. I swear when I talk to my friends we all have the same story of a guy sharing his whole life sad story waaay to soon, like on the first date.....it's super weird like can we get to know each a little more first. Men swear were the free therapy session ugh!
@@aysyaw6038 true it can be weird. but if you think about it, men can't really talk to anyone about their problems. if they do they get shamed and called weird or weak. i don't think they should be saying their whole life story, but i do show some compassion because the world isn't to kind to men either
@@mxriamn I definitely understand that society has put pressures on men and women in different ways. At some point though I wish men would understand that they are human and have every right to feel any emotion they want to feel and learn how to be in control of them. And when I say control I don't mean compress, I mean actually feel it and deal with it. Anyway, I also believe men should go to therapy as well. Compassion is cool but sometimes I feel like men use that against women (it's bad when it's intentional and they take advantage) because it's in our nature to nuture. Mental health, in general, is real and should really be handled correctly, everyone is going through something.
@@aysyaw6038 i definitely agree. i felt as if that comment was a bit insensitive. i understand that no one should really open up when you first meet them, but i'm talking about if they do open up in another circumstance they shouldn't be shamed for it, and listening to someone isn't bad and hence should not be calling it a "free therapy session"..
I had a similar experience once. Listening to this story just further validated that these kinds of boys have serious trauma to unpack and do this to girls for attention seeking and the need to feel wanted
