Yay! I've been going through these videos to prepare and I've been getting them all right thus far. I passed Core with flying colors for ELAR so I guess I'm pretty prepared already lol!

Have you taken your STR already I just passed my core a month ago and am now working on the STR how did it go was it easier than the ELAR portion of the core

On question 10.. I went with Summative. We call our end of unit assessments summative and I was taught that in a program I went through. Interesting…

Durning the 10th minute you state that a criterion-referenced assessment is not a benchmark. I have heard different things about this. Can you please further explain?

Hi! It all depends on the context of the question scenario. Criterion-based is basically an assessment that test a specific set of criterion, as a Principal evaluates a teacher on a specific set of criterion. However, if the scenario discusses an assessment ok a different context, for example to use to compare how classes did against each other, THEN it would be a criterion, it rather a normative assessment. Context is key. Hope that helps.
