I built a light house on my center island so that I could see it from the inner ring of islands! I can't see the light very far but it has helped a LOT. It allows me to not use my compass as much which feels a bit more immersive for me. I'm not opposed to the compass (I use it a lot) but I don't use anything like that in daily life because I use landmarks and my familiarity with my area to get around so I prefer to not use it unless I have to. I built mine using an old YT vid I found from like five years ago. It's either a hexagon or an octagon, I forget, but I'm excited to see your ideas! The roof was the hardest part! Yes, I'm typing this comment before I watch your video. :P Keep up the great work!

hahaha thank you so much, i must say that i also prefer not to take the compass... the first days was crutual because there is so many new things you come across that one can really forget which way you came from haha... but having a tower is really good... i also use it as a land mark and if i see which side it is situated around me, i know immediately where i am :):)

Now you have build the perfect playground island for us to play 🤪 Yee!!! some laserguns with it, maybe a tire swing... 😅. Thank you so much for this video. You showed perfectly what to do and what not. Can you imagine I was trying to do this with clay? I got so confused of the triangles, but now I for sure know it is impossible 🙃. This outer stayway is genious, and I haven’t thought about that. You are getting better all the time. I am so happy I found you 😁 Thanks so much. 🤗

Francisca, I know what you mean because I recently came across this kinda stairwell by mistake and it does work. Love your play area idea. You made me feel like a cheeky monkey in a tyre swing.😉 I play on Xbox One and I love this game and being single means I can play this game for as long as I like. I've created all sorts of builds. The Overclock is as mad as I am. However, I'm much older, much much older,.. no what am I writing, younger! 😆 Stay safe Francisca.

@@leviathanskiss8720 Hi Stuart, I haven’t played for a while now, but I should, It is so addictive 😅. I play on xbox one too. You forget time when playing. And yes age does not matter when playing. My husband and children play and watch total different games. The Overclock plays so many games, I can’t keep up 😅 I love the crazy creative and funny gameplay. Npc, pvp ? I will have to google that 🤣 I would like it to encounter other shipwrecked people in the game, but only if it were you people, because I am sure there will be a lot of rebellions stealing stuff, breaking your home, shooting and looting... and I would hate that. 😖 It would be like the world we live in, with discrimination and war. This game should stay peacefull, but it has so much potential, I hope the makers will eventually come up with new things.

How do you break walls and foundations and gain full refund for materials ? Is that only exists on PC version or it’s about the character skills level

If you build something and hammer it till it looks ok, just about 80% or so, then you will get all resources back. 😁😁😁 If you hammer it complete, you won’t. 😬 There is a difference between wood and clay and different things you build. Some things will always give 100% back. If you make a plank station, use an old axe, when you brake it, you regain all resources and your axe is 100% again. 🤩 Have a nice time building 🤗

I am building these stairs right now. But I also want to build a stairway from top to bottom.... stupid idea maybe, but... I made this elevator, then a path between the trees 🥰 nice view. And now I want to slowly climb down with stairs and a path in between, if you know what. I am saying? Probably not possible..... but maybe you have some idea.
