Originally from Logansport, Indiana, Brian Blume currently serves as Instructor of Percussion at Southeastern University. Prior to his appointment at SEU, Blume taught percussion at Center Grove High School as well as the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Indiana University.
Strands of Time is a solo for marching snare drum and prerecorded track that weaves both acoustic and electronic rhythms into a unified “digital” whole.
