For me the weirdest and *WORST* part of Ninjago's world is the Cloud Kingdom. It's the one thing about Ninjago I wish never happened. Seeing the ninja act out with whatever was written makes it feel like the ninja have no free will to a certain extent, just doing whatever the people in the Cloud Kingdom write. It just feels so wrong.

Isn’t Day of the Departed, kinda of inspired of Dia de los Muertos, I mean it’s not the same but they have the same base idea which is to remember our loved ones who passed away. So actually in reality it does exist in our world

I think you forgot an interesting detail, Earth DOES exist in the universe of Ninjago but it is NOT Ninjago itself otherwise that would bring up some plot inconsistencies with the Clutch Powers movie and Ninjago itself.

I really wonder how the Ninja are funded. I think the show keeps it ambiguous on purpose. We know that before Lloyd defeated the overlord in season 2, the ninja wasn't exactly rich (they could barely afford a dingy apartment without a proper window), yet they had vehicles and the Samurai X suit. Jay's parents seem quite well-off as they own a massive junkyard with all sorts of gizmos, and of course, Pixal's father is probably the wealthiest guy in Ninjago right now. I'm guessing that they somehow acquired a bunch of metal and tools and built whatever they could in the earlier seasons, but once they defeated the overlord and befriended Borg, they get funding from the government and have full access to whatever resources they desired. I think the show intentionally keeps that ambiguous so we can get creative.

Just because Ninjago doesn't have an actual Christmas, doesn't mean they wouldn't celebrate something similar. Like how Day of the Departed combines lots of "Halloween-like" holidays.

Aren't you forgetting that two of the elemental masters(Light and Toxic) are Canonical villains in the Ultra Agent's universe, which is Canonical part of the Galaxy Squad universe and it's confirmed that those two villains are the same guys as the elemental masters, so that must mean they're in the same universe or most likely on the same planet

I wonder if someday we will see Metallonia, the land of Karloff and Korgran. They are two strong characters, but they're really different from each other. So, Metallonia is huge and is NOT Ninjago. Maybe it is the other side of the world. :-) There are no years but ages. Then, in Season 7, when Zane was awhire and confused, he mentioned that the "water-mill was invented in 1818". Eighteen and eighteen? Of which calendar, my good nindroid? :-) We know there's no specific religion in Ninjago, but when I saw Lloyd and his Grandfather meet and the Grass Fields with those golden flowers, it was obvious to me to think about Heaven and St.Peter :-D As Lego characters have no hands, out of some rare exceptions, they don't wear rings, so here it is the Ying/Yang promise, that's an awesome idea to divert the attention from some missing things. ;-) The Government in Ninjago is... well... the Officer, I guess. So a Police State. '_' But the Officer also said there's a Mayor and she's always impossible to see or meet and she does not spend too much money to her city safety. That's why they need the Ninja, I guess. So, if there's a mayor, there are elections. We know there's Police, the Cryptarium, Borg Industries, Hiroshi's labyrinth and someone who builds great and super-safe jails. We also know that Pixal built something really technologic under the ancient Spinjitzu Temple and its monks. And where did she take the money? She made a mech, a submarine, the alarm and defence system... and how hard had to work in the Tea Shop our Ninja to have enough money for that? It depends on race or lookings, but Ninjago is not an easy place for people who are not the "right shape": Serpentines are always related with wars and scary things; when Jay was changing into a Snake and he was at a half of the process, people were already there to hit him because he was not welcome there. On the other hand, it seems that nindroids are Ok and there's no mad scientist who wants to study Zane or Pixal or other nindroid: they're a matter of fact, Ok and fine, even for Milton Dyer's Mom. Clouse, as a ghost, was chased and people threw things at him, just because he was a ghost. Luckily this did not happen to Cole, that was there and even TV was Ok to this. I wonder why, though. Ninjago has a thing in common with the Winx world: fairies show different planet and they call them dimensions; the same can be said for the 16 realms: maybe they are planets as well and only dragons or special teas can reach them. All the other planets in their Solar System are empty, as ours... or it seems so. With the exception of those glowing bugs that eat metal. Both those worlds also share the Endless Ocean. When the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago maybe there was already something: small tribes (human and serpentine, I guess) and maybe some Elemental Masters who did not know anything about Elements... I am just guessing, at this point.

What about the Golden Peaks where the Golden Weapons were made? An endless ocean and just one volcano?

Ninjago does in-fact celebrate halloween. If you watch wu’s teas shorts there is one short where the stove top isn’t working and Jay needs Kai’s fire power to start it. There is just one problem, Kai is meditating because of some special tea. Jay tried to snap him out of it by making him angry. One of the things that Jay says is that he ate Kai’s halloween candy.

I love how vast and fascinating the world of Ninjago has become over these past 10 years. Im curious to see how much more it will grow in future seasons

i think ninjargon is basically their version of english. I think ninjargon is english but with different letters and is called ninjargon instead of english. and it might be the same for other languages like german, it's the same thing in the ninjago world but called different and has different letters.

I hope that other worlds in Ninjago's universe are other realms. If they are then that would mean that you wouldn't need traveler's tea leaves or a traveler tea berry because you could just go to space. Yes, that could take more time, money, and wouldn't be as efficient, but it is an option. So if someone is traveling through space for some reason, they could stop by some realms, as well. (Yes, I know it would probably just be better to use traveler's tea, but for me it is just comforting to know that the Ninjago realms could also be planets near Ninjago, for some reason) Edit: Also, if not all realms are in Ninjago's solar system, then some might be. For example, I like to think that at least the First Realm and the Neverrealm are in Ninjago's solar system because the closer a planwt is to the sun, the hotter it is. So the First Realm could be a planet closer to the sun than Ninjago. Also, a planet farther from the sun is colder, so the Neverrealm is farther from the sun than Ninjago. Also, the reason why they say the Neverrealm is the farthest realm from Ninjago could just mean it is the farthest planet from the sun in Ninjago's solar system, and the other planets are other realms that came before the Neverrealm, therefore being so far from Ninjago that only a traveler's berry can get them back to Ninjago, or something like that.

Day of the departed is A combination of easter of death and Halloween. They know about Christmas but they don't celebrate IT. The commissionner called the président on ep 82 .

Dragon day? That scene at the beginning of season 8 is a New Year celebration, hence we are then told it's been one year since Wu disappeared. That's a Chinese-inspired Dragon, often seen in New Year celebrations.

I think Ninjago Universe IS Ninjago Realm, and other planets are just planets in this realm. Because if planet = Realm, why anybody the heck needs Crystal Realm, if they can just create a rocket and travel to another "Realm"? Why Ghosts don't just "fly" to the Ninjago Planet, they're unvulnerable! It makes much more sense if Universe = Realm tbh
