My band played several years in a row in that big conference room for New Years Eve back in like late 90's early 2000's. There were 3 sections they had to the room where you could close it off to have smaller conference rooms but for NYE, they had the entire room wide open for the party...and it was one heck of a NYE bash too. Sad to see the shape this place is in now - used to be such a nice place.
The area where you said it looks like it was for a fountain, was a water wheel. I believe it was because they had a lounge there called the Water Wheel Lounge. The area in front of that, the wide open space, was once where the indoor pool was. That pool was removed however before the hotel was shut down.
Bro I literally went there hella times even threw a lil party I couldn’t tell you how many time me an friend went in there than one time went went late parked close bad mistake but we came across these RU-vidrs small but they were acting sum type of way, we’ll we went in than 30 min later we were about to come out an I swear the whole police station was there 10 to 13 cars I really can’t remember we tried to run and shit they had hella guns and dogs they got us I was the only one who went to jail that night 😢
I'm surprised all the metal and copper is still there I would do some research and see if u can take the cover and stuff there ur looking at probly 30k in copper alone
It’s only a matter of time before someone starts stripping the copper. Apparently a couple years ago someone tried burning the plastic off of the copper wires and started a fire in the indoor pool.
