I liked this story way more than I should. A lot of people called cringe on the twist at the end but to me it felt like quite an interesting concept.

He learned this through his memories coming back to him late in the game. So when everything went to hell and he could not save people as well as the woman he loved which was Princess Sarah and had to kill all his friends he snapped at them for messing with everything. His memories, the world, the people of that world. He got tired of them being used as lab rats and fought back against them becoming Garland [evil] and also Chaos. There is more but it's mainly cause they kept messing with everyone's memories and erasing them each reset

@@TheCyclicGamer yeah that is true but that’s the part they messed up, even though it was arranged they made it seem like Luna & noctis really loved eachother but never showed why they just told but didn’t show, unlike sarah, iris, & Stella you can see their interactions lead into them liking eachother but Luna & noctis only interacted as kids only not as adults which throws it off

@@TheCyclicGamer look, to each their own, and it's totally fine if you liked noctis and luna and didn't zidane and garnet, but calling it "worse than twilight" is objectively wrong (at the very least in the acception "worse than twilight" = "horrible on an almost eldritch level" that's commonly used, if you genuinely enjoyed the story in twilight i don't know what to say), AT LEAST you saw the relationship develop on screen and by the end it's believable that they fell for one another (despite the rough start mostly due to Zidane being a moron on women-related topics), as far as ff romances go, i'd rate it pretty highly

As you said, she has been sheltered her whole life, so, while Zidane IS right in saying she is not mature enough to handle the situation in burmecia, and the story agrees, since her going back with Steiner ends up being a HORRIBLE idea, she, from a character point of view, is "right" to think herself able to handle the situation, since has no frame of reference; furthermore, since she has been basically kept confined in the Castle for so long that she begged the First moron that she found around to kidnap her, she probably doesn't take being told that she is forbidde to do something too well at that point in the story (again, strategically very stupid, but in character) 3)She saw first hand the destruction caused by the stolen eidolon various times, got the final betrayal from her mother (while they obviously had issue, again, She begged the first person she found to kidnap her, she went back to Alexandria BECAUSE she thought she could talk some sense into her, so, on some level she still held out hope for her mother, only to be told to her face that she was just a pawn), got all her eidolons stolen and when she is rescued She was about to due, the others didn't NEED to reprimand her, also she does It plenty herself, i'm not sure what game you played, there is literally a section in which she can't talk / fight properly because she traumatized by both the shit She went through and the guilt. 4) She didn't blew off the Man who is deeply in love with her and risked his Life for her multiple times, she blew off (in her eyes) a creep who grabbed her ass, tried WAAAAY to hard to flirt with her (and other women, in the scene that you pointed out in which she talks of returning to Alexandria he even fucked up recalling if he promised her or someone else an airship ride, and she noticed) and didn't rescue her out of the kindness of his heart, but was just payed to do it; just because the player can see the thoughts of the characters It doesn't mean the rest of the cast can; it's only AFTER that (you know, during the three oh so eloquently called disks of "Will they? Won't they? Bullshit" that you see both of them develop actual romantic feelings through their interactions e.g:when he saved her from bahamut after he kept the distance when She was coronated due to not wanting to bring her down or when he was there for her in said phase in which she was traumatized, or, on the other hand, when she snapped him out of his funk during the "you are not alone" sequence . 5) as much as i like freya and think She was severely under-utilized in the game; no, her story with flatrey LITERALLY all happens off-screen, yes SHE cares for him, he vaguely has some form of affection for her, but he is literally in three scenes in the whole game and one Is a flashback from before the memory loss. 6)... seriously? You complain about "Will they? Won't they? Bullshit" and Twilight Is a-okey? How long Is "New Moon" again? (In which, btw, bella voices concerns of being treated like a child etc similar to Garnet, only to do even dumber things in response), also "smelling intoxicating and being clumsy aren't substitutes for a personality" (same as "being brooding and a walking bundle of human shaped red flags").
