Oh, no one will hate on you for giving kudos to Dacre Montgomery (the guy who plays Billy)! Billy’s a great character from a writing and plot standpoint, but morally, he’s certainly on the darker side than most characters. Dacre, however, is vastly different from his character and deserves so much appreciation for his performance, especially this season :)
7:00 adding to what you were saying, the actor of Johnathan (Charlie) and Nancy (Natalia) have been together in real life since season one and are still in a relationship.
@@attiyasyed1708 yes! like nathan had explained, charlie was in a relationship where he was groomed by a much older woman. she then gave birth and left him with the child (i cant remember all the details off the top of my head, sorry!), so charlie's been raising him on his own !! i know that there's also been some pictures of natalia with charlie and his kid, and i've heard that she's just been so supportive and been there for the both of them ever since she started dating charlie!
@@Green-3c34y65vrbu el and mike vs el and max are very much incomparable. they’re relationship has been built up since season 1. el and max didn’t become friends till the 3rd season and has like barely any scenes together for the next season. i don’t even ship mike and eleven bro but ur comment sounds dumb asf they ain’t the same
Y’all need to start saying “flayed” instead of “impregnated and inseminated” 🤣. Also Lumax are absolutely terrible advice givers for mileven. Mike should’ve known that when Lucas said how on and off they were, we don’t even know if lumax is “together together” this season.
Although I feel like Season 1 and 4 have stronger stories and plots than Season 3. Season 3 is the best season to display who the characters are and how much they've been fleshed out.
In my opinion, the mall was a much better set than the other set's in season 4. I loved the atmosphere in season 3 and it really incasplated summer to me. I wouldn't say it's my favorite season but I had the most fun watching it out of any other season.
Bro, Dacre (Billy) is such a great actor tbh, in season 3 his acting is phenomenal. i am just waiting for the episode with the sauna. there he literally acted his ass off.
what i love about elmax & lumax is that their fandoms really don’t fight at all. like i see milevens & bylers fight ALL THE TIME, but elmax & lumax shippers are jusy always at peace because at the end of the day we just want to see max happy :)
i also heard the actor who plays jonathan (charlie heaton) started acting so he could pay for and support his kid. he in a phenomenal person with a pure heart.
I haven't watched the reaction yet and I don't know if anyone said this already but, the actress who plays Robin is Maya Hawke. Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman's daughter. It was a shock for me when I found out, but I can totally see it 😂
The music starts to really amp up in this season. The choices are 80’s perfection. And the mall is exactly like a mall I hung out in, the nostalgia is really good alongside the character development and friendships.
Dustin, Steve and Robin have a nice dynamic going on. They're all pretty fun to watch. And honestly, Robin is a great new addition to the cast. This is the first time we've really seen Mike and Jane interact as a couple. They got together at the end of S1. Were separated for most of S2. And now they're fighting and already broken up. I personally was never too crazy about them anyway so it's meh. I feel so bad for Will even in this season. First Season, he gets snatched up. Second season, he gets possessed, burned, and tormented. Now he just wants his life to go back to the way it was and his friends aren't paying attention to him. He's being ignored. Being Will Byers is suffering. Will deserves better.
This is probably the most divisive season of stranger things. It’s mostly either peoples favorite or least favorite. I think it’s cause the plot itself is less strong than the other seasons but at the same time the humor and vibes are better. For me it’s my 2nd fav season before season 4 simply cause I just love the characters themselves so much and we get more of them in this season than action or something like that which I love but having more time with the characters for me means a lot
My opinion: Tl;Dr: the mileven breakup plot line was absolutely stupid and I hate it so much. And they made Hopper absolutely awful this season Personally, it's my least favorite and I very much disagree on the humor. This season definitely had some good things. Like, I enjoyed the dynamic with Dustin, Steve, and robin. And alexi was probably my favorite character of the whole show. And the mind flyer was genuinely pretty terrifying. But the romance subplot was just horrible and I *hate* Hopper this season. Firstly, there's the fact that Mike gets literally all the blame for stuff when he's arguably the most innocent person of everything. Hopper couldn't stomach being mature when he sees a teen acting like a teen, so he threatens Mike and forces him to lie to el. That's not funny, that's toxic and immature(honestly, looking at Hopper inches season 3 finale with Mike, you'd think *that* Hopper and this one are two completely different people entirely). Then max basically tells el "all guys suck and they're always trying to control you." Then when Mike shows genuine concern for her safety, el now thinks of that as him being controlling and dumps him and they play it like I'm supposed to root for el and max. Then they spy on the boys and when confronted about it, they basically say "we're girls and we do what we want" and we're still supposed to root for el and max. Then he is worried about her overworking herself and yet again, he's accused of trying to control her. Then at the end of the day, he's the only one that ends up apologizing despite being pretty innocent. And as for hopper, like I said, he became an immature man child. Any time things don't go his way, he starts screaming and arguing. This happened with both Mike and Joyce. But at the end of the day, Joyce forgave him for some reason. And as for the humor, imo it simply didn't feel natural for any of the characters apart from alexei and his friend (whose name I forget right now) that could speak Russian. Seasons 1 and 2, it felt like the funny moments were natural. Season 3, it felt like they were trying to make the moments funny if that makes sense.
Dacre portrays Billy so well and I honestly think him and Millie are the best actors in the show. They’re all amazing but the emotions I get from Billie in this season are everything.
Ya'll were laughing too hard to even hear the song playing when El broke up with Mike. "You're cold as ice.." immediately after. Makes it funnier. Just wait. As this season goes on, remember that each season has to set up all the little things that make every moment what we love. Billy is actually a sad character. He's a complicated character...there's always so many things that make us who and what we are as a complete person. We show one mask to this person, another mask to these people. Even the people who know us, as deeply as possible, there are still things we keep inside that create us.
I just want to say that I would react to anything you all react to. Y’all make me laugh EVERYTIME. It wouldn’t even be the scene that make me laugh it would be how y’all react to it. I love y’all sm omg😭🫶🏼
That feeling when you're Russian and you're watching stranger things I liked the moment when Steve, Dustin and Robin translated the recording from Russian into English. And honestly I am surprised at how accurately and without an accent Russian phrases, negotiations, etc. are pronounced here. I do not know how it was filmed, but it was so cool and unusual to hear your native language here. And it's so great to understand every word :)
I’m subscribed to you on patreon, and you talked about Millie Bobbie Brown being British, did you know Charlie Heaton who plays Jonathan is also British?
I know I’m getting old now cuz I was thinking “20 isn’t young to be with a 33 year old” until I saw a photo of them together and he looks like a kid with his mom.
Max is teaching El to stand up for herself without just using her powers. She has way more confidence now. Shes gaining a bigger personality. Shes owning it. Look at Eleven Shes so cool in this season. Friends don't Lie. She stuck it to Mike and I Love how she got back at those girls. They Laughed at the wrong girls. Love her and Max together. I dump your ass tell him El. Mike needs to gain some courage and confidence
Okay, whoever this older guy is in the reactions, I hope he stays around. He's really grown on me. I was iffy at first. Also, more comfortable, and less weird watching the channel now that there's someone around my age.
i've rewatched this show so many times and only recently did i realize that when karen found billy in the supply closet he was drinking bleach. like i thought that was water or sweat on his face but no...it's bleach
I can’t believe y’all didn’t know how El got her powers? She’s human! Her mother was part of MK Ultra- a real project the US Government did. In this universe the experiment was successful, resulting in super powered kids. The reason why Russia is the enemy here cause back then the Cold War tension was still high. Also Billy’s actor Dacre Montgomery is Phenomenal in this- he plays a possessed character fighting for control very well.
I can relate to Cameron because I was also not feeling s3 at first too my head was wrapped around how amazing s2 was and s3 wasn't just doing it for me as much and it took few episodes like 3 or 4 episodes for me to finally get into it but trust me the first half can feel like this but the other half is amazing and it's really good
They didn't give up payphones in old fashioned towns. You know towns that don't want to go modern. Believe it or not some places in the world still has them kind of like the Riverdale show and the Netflix Sabrina show. They both have an old fashioned town. Some cities still look old like Old Town in California it has all the pioneer and Western stuff still.
I Love that El and Max are Best Friends. She needs a girl best friend because she has all guy friends and she can't tell them everything so its nice to have someone she can open up to and talk about girl stuff. They can talk about their boyfriends. And now she and Max can go hang out, go shopping at the mall and try on new clothes and enjoy herself with her new BFF. Its good for both her and Max cause neither one of them have very many Friends or Girlfriends. Its such an Awesome duo. We get to see Max's girly side and El becoming more mature. Just two girls enjoying themselves after all the depression both girls have been dealing with its good for them to have each other.... #MaxandElBFFs4Life
When you guys said "What if America is the problem? not us, but like America as a whole", I want you to apply that to the "men are shit" argument. lol. You'll understand what we mean then.
Dustin and Steve are my favorite Boy Duo in the series their like brothers. Everytime their together on screen their fun to watch and they have hilarious dialogue between the two them some #DustinandSteveAreBros
I think most men are better today because women who grew up in the 80’s raised them. I had a boss who wanted me to actually sit on his lap. And Nancy isn’t getting paid, they are both there as summer interns.
another example of actors being told to do something they didn’t want to was the actor for carl in the show shameless. he had to say the n word multiple times when we didn’t want to because if he didn’t they would’ve fired him.
I feel as if max n els friend ship was good and bad for el....max is a good friend n all el knew was mike before hand so its good for her to hang wit a new friend but also max tends to try n make decisions for el and says its for you...sometimes its good but when she flat out tells el to treat mike like shit n dump his ass shes causing el to cause conflict in her relationship tht el doesnt even want or understand. Not to mention max doesnt fully understand els situation n all mike is doing is trying to keep el safe from whats already happened before.. Her getting taken from him. Lastly its literally hoppers fault from jump if he wouldve never jumped on mike for being wit el all the time non of tht wouldve never happened. Mike wouldve never had to lie to el about why they couldnt hang out bc they wouldve literally been hanging out.
I agree with you. I like that el and max became friends, but absolutely *hate* the mileven breakup plot and the fact that it's Hopper and Max's fault makes me so mad. Yet despite that, Mike is the only one to apologize at the end despite being arguably the most innocent one in everything involving the romance/breakup plot
