Take a look behind the design of the iconic sets of ST4 with Production Designer, Chris Trujillo. Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 is now streaming. Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 is coming July 1st, only on Netflix.
There were so many different sets this season in particular, what with everyone being in different locations, and they all had so much detail and attention put into them. Love seeing the behind the scenes process:)
I like how each season Hawkins has a completely different aesthetic. Season 1: Winter, Cooler Tones, Brittle, Cold Season 2: Fall, Halloween, Warmer Tones, Spooky Season 3: Summer, 4th of July, Retro, Bright more colorful color palette, and much a more fun aesthetic then the other seasons, more of a summer horror theme. Season 4: Spring, Dark tones, red tones, more horror then the other scenes, and nightmare on elm street vibes.
I had been hearing about this show for YEARS, so I finally decided to start watching Stranger Things this month when I heard about the release of Season 4 Volume 1. And WOW, was I blown away by this show with every single aspect of it! It's definitely my favorite television series I've ever seen on Netflix and I'm super excited for Volume 2 to come out!
Make sure to watch some analysis on the show. I've binge watched this series before and only took little notice of the details. This show has so many hidden meanings, I bet it will blow you even more if you read some of the theories.
@@user-pu7yt9pw4x I've already seen so many behind-the-scenes videos and theories about Stranger Things. I am totally addicted to everything about the show lol
Production Design / Set Carpenters / Set Painters / Set Decs are truly some of the most incredible and most talented people on a show. Seeing what they can create with ply wood and imagination on a sound stage will always blow my mind.
Its great that the behind the scene artists and designers are getting to showcase their talent. This show is great not just because of great acting. All aspects of production are equally important. This was a learning experience
The amount of work and detail that goes into this show is just on another level. Can't help but appreciate it. It makes for such an amazing experience for every viewer. Love Stranger Things.
This just has to be the best show. They care so much to make it so detailed for the viewers. I imagine it costs so much for these details but they always do it because they care about the show and the viewers, such a giving show. Thank you for all of it
I love seeing the behind the scenes because they show us how much effort and time and creativity you guys put it into it with the details and attention you put into the sets and costumes, and it turns out to be so good! Please make a documentary of the behind the scenes of this season as it would be so cool to see how it happens behind the camera.
The video store was AMAZING! Took me straight back to being a kid and going to the local video store for a vhs and then a dvd when those became a thing lol! This show has been such a nice nostalgic vibe for us 80’s/90’s kids!
Absolutely beautiful and amazing!! The amount of work and details they put in this season and show as a whole is just perfect. Best show in the world!!!!
It’s so surreal. Like, the design, It’s hard to believe that some of it is effects. The amount of editing that probably takes. Stranger Things is the best show. No need to explain.
Huge respect to everyone who works on this show. Must be exhausting and even frustrating at times but we appreciate all they do to make this universe created by Matt and Ross astonishingly authentic.
I just love how the further you go into the story, the more is revealed and how there are more branches of info. In the first season, it was just a simple monster from another dimension kidnapping people and escaping through portals to hive minds connecting to all of the entities. Once the final season is over, it’s like we can piece all of the info back to season one and watch as the characters do too.
i can not tell you the weird warm nostalgia comfort feelings that the video store brings out, growing up through the 80s i spent hours and hours in video rental stores looking through all the strange titles and little obscure B films. and the magic isnt so much in chain stores like BlockBuster but in just little local ma and pa videos stores. we had one named Kaleidoscope video that was soo cool, well into the late 90s when it finally went out of business you could still go there and find every little odd out of print video they had ever had since the early 80s. it was just full of little treasures you could not find anywhere else. they still had a whole BETA section when they closed. i bought a BUNCH of videos from them when they were going out of business, i still miss walking around that place great memories.
I absolutely *LOVE* the look of the Family Video store! If any of these props go up in an auction once the show officially ends, I wanna purchase the Family Video neon sign!
Supremely talented set of people came to together for this incredible wnd extraordinary project of Stranger things...i knew that this show is going to be so great!! Kudos to the whole team of Stranger things !
The amout of love, hard work, time, money and skill just put into this series has been remarkable to watch over the years!!! (Seriously, the sets in S4 *alone* were so so good??? I love how the lake bit was done!) I enjoyed this season incredibly so I'm super super happy to see just how it all came to be!! **Stranger Things** is just super super good. Gosh gosh the way they watch movies together too (Robin and Steve) is so sweet 😭💞 "Platonic with a capital P!" I love this show so so much!!! I hope the ending doesn't leave me feeling sad 😔💔 I'll really miss this
