SaMe I didn't cry but screamed "NO!" at the top of my lungs at my monitor and kept saying "почему!" ( "Why" in Russian. ) He was the only Russian character I have ever seen in an American show/movie that wasn't some evil villian like Americans make them be most of the time.

I hate it, you can see the happiness drain from his face as he sees him. Makes me cry every time I see it. By far the best character in the whole show.

Alexei showed him that not all Russians were bad. He showed him what it’s like to have a friend. My heart sank when I first saw this
he was literally the best character ever in the series i don't think i ever liked any of the main characters as much as i did with him he was just so good and happy he made me happy but of course i can never have good things 3:00 describes perfectly how i felt but make his yelling louder and more extreme and distraught
also how did anybody not notice this taken place at all? i know it would be fairly loud and busy there but you think someone close would see the man bleeding out infront of so many people did these people really did not give a single fuck

@@Florida_man420 i was going to point that out in the comment as well because there was just so much bullshit but i also didn't want it be super long and there was other things such as why didn't the worker who was serving food give any reaction? why did nobody notice his body? i know it was hidden but it seemed like in a area at least someone would have noticed also what HAPPENED to the body? did they just leave it there???

@@giuliab8484 he probably wasn't forced but, like a lot of the other Russians, naively helped out because he wasn't aware of the consequences of opening the gate.
He was honestly such an innocent guy Alexei. Alexei had such a childish mind and always wanted his Cherry Slushies. And when I saw his death. I was so devastated, I was like “WHY DO ALL MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS HAVE TO DIE?! ALMOST ALL OF THEM WERE INNOCENT!” Like I would serve justice for Alexei and everybody else that were innocent.
He wasn’t innocent, Remember he was still building the machine but once they captured him it’s like alexei was free again but again if he fucked up on the machine he would’ve been dead. It was nice that hopper and Joyce took him it shows that he wasn’t such a bad person at all.

I’ve never felt more attached to a non-English speaking, non-subtitled character. Alexei was just a guy who was forced into doing what he did. He deserved so much better.
Acsalvador _01 If you look closely at hoppers “death” when the machine explodes he’s not there and if you think about alexei’s death you can make a judgement that he could still be alive. It takes a little longer then a minute to die of a gunshot wound in that specific area he was shot at and there was a lot of people who could spot him. All in all I think they both live or at least hopper survives.

Me and my friends all binged ST season 3 together until four in the morning ( those almost hour long episodes my dudes. ) and we ALL fell in love with Alexei. So when he died we all screamed and grieved together. I'd like to say it brought us closer together as friends. ALEXEIIII!!!! Is going down as one of the biggest inside jokes ever. Thanks Alexei you sweet, innocent, cartoon watching, cherry slushie wanting, boy. We freaking love you.
