I’ve been told to watch Stranger Things so many times over the past few years. I finally watched it over the past week and oh my god what a show. I don’t think I’ve ever cried at a show or film before, and this one got me three times!😂 I honestly cannot wait for S5!!

It would be really dumb to kill hopper. If they were going to they should have left him dead in season 3

EVERYONE ALWAYS FORGETS!!! Will died in season 1!!! They found him without a heartbeat and not breathing in the upside down!! They gave him CPR and got him back- anything is possible at this point

In season 4, Eddie sacrificed himself and saved Dustin. I think that Dustin will be really sad this season, because he couldn't get to Eddie in time and safe him from the bats. My Stranger things 5 theory is that.. Steve will think that he needs to sacrifice himself to safe dustin, and therefore Steve will almost die. Dustin will have have these horrible flashbacks of Eddie dying in his armes, and he realises that he can't let the same thing happen again... Therefore Dustin is going to safe Steve, and get the satisfaction his character needs. Sorry.. I know my English is bad lol

I think it would make sense if Nancy dies sacrificing herself for someone. Personally, I dont think Steve would be the most fitting, but maybe? I think it could also be one of the kids, Jonathan or one of her siblings. The point isn't really who she sacrifices herself for, but the fact that she is willing and strong enough to die for another character. This would be a perfect way of showing her devolopment from season one. It is a contrast to how Barb died, and Nancy felt that it was her fault. She has been haunted be the death of Barb ever since. In the previous seasons we have seen her grow into a strong and tough woman. She is no longer the scared and insecure girl that ler her friend go. She is the one sacreficing everything in the last battle, for the ones she loves.

They did report that Sadie Sink will be paid just as much as the rest of the cast aside from MBB and the adults so it is safe to assume she’ll be out of the coma or at least have a major part while in the coma.

I do think that Will will have a big role for season 5, but I don't think he will be possessed by Vecna. I think he will be the navigation for the group. He can sense Vecna, so when it comes to the group finding Vecna anytime throughout the season they will need Will. I also think he will be the warning for the group if something tries to sneak up and attack them.

I think billy will be in a vision of maxes while shes in the coma and he will encourage her to keep fighting sorta like Johnny did with migule when he was in the coma and max will wake up

Season 3 had 3 roads. Season 4 had 4 roads. So Season 5 has 5 roads: 1) The upside down being frozen in 1984 2) Will's connection to Henry Creel 3) Russia and the Military 4) The survival of Hawkins and possibly the world 5) Max's coma

I also like the idea of Karen wheeler being Vecnas sister but they won’t make it such a big deal about her being his sister more than Nancy and mike, especially Nancy being his nieces and nephews. I think that the reason Nancy didn’t die when Vecna got to her is because he knew that she was related to him and more wanted to scare her and show her what is going to happen

The Deathly Hallows Part 2 theory made me think of a very interesting parallel between the movie and stranger things. Harry was perceived dead as the last horcrux, objects containing pieces of Voldemorts soul that were instrumental in both his initial return and defeat. Therefore, throughout the series Harry was connected to him- Will has been connected to the upside down since s1 and was used as a spy for the mind flayer- like how Ginny was used by Tom riddle with the diary in the Chamber of secrets. And there’s no way the duffers used him as a vessel for 4 seasons for nothing. That’s why I think, instead of Eleven, Will is going to have to die in order to put Vecna away for good. He’s a major part of the hive mind, and killing him would sever the connections between the upside down and the real world that we’ve seen across the show.

In my opinion if Eddie is a spy/vampire it would be like Vecna's lore from D&D. In his lore Vecna made an army and choce a soldier (his name is Vas). He gave him a strong weapon (a sword), after a while of Vecna and Vas were almost done with the whole world domanation thing Vas betreayed Vecna and used the sword Vecna gave him to kill Vecna and end the war. If Eddie did come back he would probally do the Vas thing and kill vecna. (his weapon would be his guitar as an axe)

Great video! One of my predictions is we get an epic and long fight of eleven vs vecna, then will helps out revealing he does have powers along with Kali/008 joining the fight. To end the series we get an amazing fight of eleven, will and kali leading vs the upside down along with the rest of the characters.

Prediction 1: I think that Eddie will be a major part of Dustin’s role in s5. Eddie’s death will traumatise Dustin with multiple flashbacks, this will make Dustin be a hero for one of his friends like will or Lucas or Mike. This could lead to Dustin sacrificing himself for one of them against vecna. I also think dustin won’t let Steve die because he probably doesn’t want to feel what he felt after eddie’s death. Rip Eddie. I think we need Dustin to step up to the plate in this last season because he has just been like a main side character in the recent four seasons so this makes perfect sense. Prediction 2: I think that Max might be the main role in s5 or Will. Both of them have a connection with Vecna and the upside down so it makes perfect sense for them to have that main role in s5. Comment what you lot think.

Chris, I've got a theory which comes all the way back to the first season. Back there, when Mike and his party was talking to their Science teacher about how to travel to the upside down theorically speaking, he told them that If this gate to another dimension really existed, it would swallow them up whole and that's exactly what is about to happen to Hawkins If nothing changes, Hawkins will definitely fall like Vecna said in the fourth season.

I have two,So picture this...first couple episodes,they figure out will has powers and created the upside down. They then try to fight vecna and lose. Dustin has a wild idea about time travel,using 11. They stop vecna from entering the upside down.everyone comes back but they don't remember 11 at all. But 11 does. Ending could be 11 showing up and they take her in as a new friend. 2nd one, once again will has powers and find out he can create stuff in the upside down. They try to take him out early and he kills Jon. So they figure out will can actually control stuff in the upside down which is Hawkins now. Vecna has all out monster invasion and will and 11 take them out. They kill him,everyone returns, but they have to close the gate.11 and Mike say good bye and they close it.

I think Karen Wheeler (Mike and Nancy's mom) will play a much bigger role then she did in Season 4. We saw she had her own poster with the Creel House in the background, so maybe she was Alice Creel and took a different ID so she could start a new life. (Idk how she could've survived, but the Duffer Brothers can always figure something out

Part of me feels like when they kill veckna and close the connection to the upside down, time will go back to before will was taken since the upside down is tied to the past. Everyone will remember what happened but those who died in the upside down will be restored as they were never supposed to be in the upside down. Just my theory.

I have a theory that vecna could possibly kill Mike. Im sure vecna knows how much mike means to Eleven, and so far mike hasn’t really been targeted before. I could see vecna killing mike as a way to weaken elevens powers.

The Crawl could be Eleven learning to take people into others minds with her and she and the party go into Max's dungeon like mind where she's possibly stuck reliving her wildest nightmares to try and save her, bringing it back to the D&D definition of a ''Crawl''

Love this!! I’ve been rewatching the series…for like the 3rd time already! Lol! I can’t help it, I’m soooo excited for the final season. It’s going to be worth the wait! I’ve been trying to see if there are any clues that I’ve missed. Also, I have to say season 3 is AMAZING! I really think people should go back and rewatch it! It’s doesn’t get the appreciation it deserves! Also, I’m hoping we can find a way to bring Susie into season 3 cause she kicks ass! 🙌🏾😂

11:18 here if you think about it the story could go like this : they time travel and stop will from ever getting into the upside down, but when they come back the earth is turned into the upside down and everyone is dead. and they realise that its a fixed point so they change it again to the way it was and face vecna

imagine Elevens final line would be the same as it was in season 1, that being, "Goodbye Mike."

I think that max has to stay in the coma for at least 5 episodes showing us her fighting and connecting to eleven to try and get out. I think that max has been fully rewind to a point where she probably won’t remember what happened to her cause eleven probably didn’t want her to relive what she went through. I also think she brought max to a point where if we recall them bonding. As for characters death I think that three potential characters could die 1 Max: she is in a coma but she also hasn’t recovered and maybe she never will, maybe they don’t find a way to get her out. 2 Eleven: Eleven is a huge key to the final story along side will meaning that she possibly finds a way to revert the upside down to a time where it first began and killed it off there but in the process it kills her considering how powerful the upside down is. 3 Dustin: Dustin is hurt so the only way I see him is being an obstacle to the others considering how bad his leg got messed up he could just be an easy target, that being said he is better off on the sidelines figuring out a way to go to the upside down and kill Vecna. 4 Robin: as main characters go Robin technically isn’t a main character she was in season 3 which is the first time she truly was introduced but as far as main character go she wasn’t in season 1 or 2 which for me if you introduce a character from those two points you automatically become a main character along the main 7 from the first season. Season 3 and 4 is the climax season meaning anything can go wrong which it did with billy and with Eddie and they were introduced in the later seasons so my guess is that Robin could go next. She is an amazing character but she is also expendable as a character.

The last scene prediction!!!!!! so basically its like eleven closes the upside down and kills Vecna also dying doing this. (cuts to a week later) Everyone is at her funeral then they start to walk away the group of friends stay behind and ask mike if he wants to be alone an he says yes. Then he places some flowers he is holding on the grave , the camera zooms out and the seasons change (as well as his clothes to fit the season and to show its him coming back everyday). *_ read on if you want a cliff hanger finish the the last season_* so for a cliff hanger it will flash into elevens coffin with her eyes closed doing that little eyeball moving thing then it cuts to then stranger thing end screen and credits and maybe some behind the scenes to every single season to get people emotional. 22:40 I definitely agree with you on that take that there’s really no doubt that Season 5 would be amazing and as one of the best seasons (finales) to date and in the history of television, and we should definitely just ignore the fanbase and those people that keep saying that Stranger Things should have ended after Season 1, because we have faith in the Duffer Brothers to stick the landing, it’s their show & their creation, and they know what they’re doing

My favorite is it's all an elaborate D&D game. Mike, Will, Lucas and EL are all grown up and the events of the series are just one big D&D game about their childhood..

One thing no one has ever mentioned. In season 2 when Max meets Dustin and Lukas she keeps calling them stalkers, then season 2 ends with Max dancing with Lukas and the song playing ‘every breath you take I’ll be watching you ‘ and season 4 of Vecna literally stalking over Max to kill her. The Duffer brothers have clearly planned this.

Fun fact: the duffer brothers said that max being in a coma is crucial to the season 5 plot so i think she won't wake up until toward the end of the season but she will be able to communicate with el and use her coma state against vecna somehow Another theory I love is that there will be one more monster introduced. Vecna is still the center of it all but when Nancy was describing what Vecna showed her, she mentioned a creature with a gaping mouth. As far as we know, there aren't any creatures like that yet so I think there will be a huge monster. This monster will be simmilar in nature to the Thessalhydra, which is the only monster they've faced in a D&D game that hasn't been represented in real life. If you look on the wiki, the Thessalhydra is decrribed SPECIFICALLY with a gaping mouth. "It had no head, instead eight hydra-like heads, each about 6 feet (1.8 meters) in length, surrounded a gaping mouth filled with teeth and acidic saliva." (direct quote from the wiki) I love this because it gives the charactars some much higher stakes then before and they will have to kill vecna in order to stop this monster from destroying everything.

I think you’re so right that someone may sacrifice themself for Steve…and based on a video someone took outside the set of filming, it sounds like it may be Dustin. It sounds a lot like Dustin screaming to Steve to run. I’ve been a mess since I saw it.

Your viewiers really have some interesting theories, I mainly love the one with infected Steve. Don't get me wrong, I love him as much as you do, but it would be such a cool storyline. I'm also surprised that no one actually mentioned 008, I believe that the Duffer brothers still have something in store for her.

Remember! There’s Linda Hamilton’s new character! So my theory: Linda’s character is a police officer or smthng and she teams up with Hopper, Murray and Joyce. Then Joyce dies? Or Joyce’s kids die and she’s there to support either Joyce or Hopper. OR Linda is Hoppers Ex! Or the wife!

My theory is that eleven will have to trade (or trick) Vecna into getting Max's soul back, because when eleven went into Max's mind she wasn't there which signifies that Max's soul is gone, and Vecna also says that all the people he kills isn't gone they're still with him so he could possibly bring Max back by some "deal". ALSO, when you mentioned "The Crawl" it could also mean Max is trying to "crawl" her way out of the coma but can't make it out.

I dont really have my own theory but i just rewatched season 4 ep 8 and it made me think. Nancy described there being a huge creature and an army of monsters and that karen, holly and mike were dead. i wouldnt be surprised if this is the route they went as other parts of what nancy has scene, like the 4 gates, have come true.

Hey Chris, you could use this theory in an episode: the cruel means the title and then Hamilton's character could be the owner of the Hawkins radio station built for season five. they built it as a memorial for Bobbie as well after the RadioShack shutdown. She could become the new host of the mind flare and help Vecna defeat Hawkins. Eddie could come back to life and also be a support for defeating the town. Tell Hamilton to call chief and office to Callahan to come and check out the gate she found in her basement or something then they will wrap them up in the vines and tell them to get them and they will also be a part of Vecnas army (similar to how billion have a built one in season three) then what happens is they will send the demo dogs to go out of all the gates including someone's that have been opened and destroy the town similar to the title The Crawl. But they will also get the evil out of ready using Dustin helpful encouraging words as they get out of him like they did to Will in season two. But he won't be funny either he will have memories of him he's good memories but instead he only had half of the evil bones so he's basically being controlled by vecna but when he's not being controlled then he thinks he's good but when he's being controlled, he's not

I don’t think Hopper deserves to lose another daughter lol I feel like that’d just break him but then Eleven can’t just live on with powers so maybe she loses them again at the end and learns to love life without them as opposed to season 4 where she struggled. I think either Steve or Johnathon could die. Steve dies because he’s always getting beaten up every season so maybe he just finally loses the fight. Or maybe he actually wins the fight and plays on the vampire theory and beats vecna. Johnathon could die to save Will to arc from when he felt guilty in season 1 &2 on not being able to do anything very useful to help him but he loves his brother so much. And then Steve and Nancy really do end up living together and having a bunch of kids. Perhaps Nancy could die because she’s such a badass and she saves her mediocre family. And then Johnathon and Steve would realize neither of them really ‘had’ Nancy cause she’s an independent woman and she don’t need no man - or life. And maybe Robin could die cause she’s just deadweight annoying anyway. I don’t think Will should die the kids been through enough. It’ll kind of annoy me if we spent all that first and second season energy fretting for him just for him to end up dying. I don’t think Joyce deserves that - so yea maybe Johnathon should live as well so the buyers can just be a blended family with Hop and eleven peacefully. Max can stay she deserves to live on - I’m sure Billy can rescue her somehow or Will can spy and find her consciousness for El. Maybe El piggybacks Wills conscious and can find Max through the hive mind. Maybe her Mum can help her with this as she’s demonstrated she still has powers in the subconscious realm. Max can have a happy life with Lucas and team up with Erica to piss him off. 8 can get off her ass and actually do something worthwhile. Suzie and Dustin can be the brains of the operation somehow. Maybe they even figure out how to bring Eddie back. I don’t know if Mike or Eleven could live without each other - that’s a tricky one, otherwise I’d just say Mike can die. But then El and Will would just end up being emo’s for the rest of their life. So maybe Mikes just around to be the ‘heart’ and they all live together in blended unity out in the country with Els mom rocking in her chair on the porch still fried out of her brains - Will would move on romantically he just needs to explore his horizons more. Maybe he ends up with the guy who El made piss himself in the first season. Johnathon would piss off to art school. So it’s settled - Robin dies, sorry girl 💁🏻‍♀️

I have a few assumptions about Will and Vecnas connections. If we look at Vecnas introduction in season 4 we never saw interact or mention Will at any given time. This could be for an array of various reasons. One could be that Will has a way of hiding from Vecna and .aybe the Hawkins gang will use that to their advantage during season 5. Maybe Will and Vecna made a deal to not harm each other but instead exchange information about each other. Will could be like a double agent where he informs the Hawkins gang that he sense the upside down and he knows about Vecna. In turn, Will could tell Vecna what they are plotting to do to him. My favorite theory about this is that Vecna doesnt even know about Will. What if he was not the person who took Will in season 1. What if it was a different number that is helping Vecna or just on their own. The same fate could have occurred to anyone else that resided in the upside down for a long period of time. Vecna might have not killed all the numbers in the lab. Like Kali, there might have still been some alive.

I’m guessing that the last scene will be Mike saying goodbye to El in his driveway. Mike’s outdoor light will flicker and he’ll say “coming Will.” The party will sit down and start another campaign. Will playing from the upside down.

kinda happy i started watching stranger things this year. i always thought it wasnt any good without having seen more than 15 mins of the first episode.

In season 4, it was revealed that the upside down is still stuck in 1983, so I think that would be the only way to have any sort of "time travel" in the show.

I do believe there's going to be some time travel, but not physically. Eleven will do something similar to how she enters people's minds, access some old memories. Maybe she'll strike Vecnas mind, open a memory when he's young and weak incapacitating him in the physical world.

i mean it would make total sense for eleven to die but hopper is like her father now, he already lost one daughter. losing eleven would tear him to pieces

Theory: For more Eddie hype, in the end of season 4 when Dustin saw Wayne putting up the missing poster of Eddie, it’s giving a Easter egg back to season 1 when Jonathan was putting up the missing poster of Will, their also wearing the EXACT same jacket. Will was stuck in the upside down and he survived, Eddie was stuck in the upside down and maybe he’s alive? As well I do rlly think we’re gonna get a Byler kiss at the end of season 5.

I don’t know about anyone else but I wanted Max to stay dead at the end of series 4. It feels cheap with eleven reviving her with her powers, and if she did stay dead, it would’ve added more weight to the series and the characters and their development as a whole, having to deal with one of their best and closest friends (Lucas’ girlfriend) die at the hands of the villain they’ve been fighting for over three years, giving them the ultimate ambition to destroy Vecna and the upside down.

I’m not exactly sure how, but in S4 Nancy is shown the future by Vecna, and she mentions her mom, holly, and Mike possibly passing away.

I think that will is more connected to the upside down than we or the characters know. There were a lot of hints to it being possible in season 4, specifically when victor creel was talking about Henry as a child, he said he was sensitive something we’ve heard will being called and other things two another thing that makes me think this is the fact time was stopped on the day will went to the upside down, it is clearly a VERY big deal not only to will as a character and to the others but to the upside down as a whole seen as we know that the upside down was created/existed long before that. Another theory I have that I haven’t seen anyone online talk about me and a friend came up with this, in season 3 when max and el go to heathers house and have that weird conversation with billy a lot of his mannerisms are very similar to 001 specifically the way billy stands with his hand together in front of him which we see 001 do in season 4 and also a lot of the things he says just don’t sound like him at all. Something else that makes me believe this is that there is no indication to Vecna that the group knows el maybe that’s why he went after max because he saw her with el through billy the only other way I can think of that Vecna would know eleven was friends with max could be her memories, in dear billy episode we see max remember the happy times which motivates her to fight and ultimately escape Vecna. Sorry this is really long winded and probably worded very strangely and has very bad punctuation I’ve had these theories for a while and needed to say them.

If they make Steve die then he would sacerfice himself for Dustin because it's more emotional for Dustin

Imagine they bring back Eddy and he knows what he is doing being controlled but can’t stop himself and about to kill Steven but then Will sacrifices himself and just before that Dustin has to kill Eddy but he can’t which allows Eddy to start to break free

I have a scenario which has been running in my head for over a year: I think that El is gonna save the day but she will be injured badly (Tony Stark style). Mike (or all of the group) will come towards her and tell her with tears "El you are gonna be fine, we just need to get you to a hospital". She says in her last breath "Friends don't lie" and then she dies. I think that if it happened it would be a great closure to the story and eleven. It would be a reference to the most iconic line of this show, it would be heartbreaking and emotional. If I had to guess who is gonna die next season I'd say Eleven, Steve, Will

Not to forget Karen being Henry/Vecna/One's sister would make Mike & El related. He would be Mike's uncle & El along with all the other experiment kids were injected with his Blood/DNA via their pregnant mothers

Sorry this is a long one. My thoery is that at the end El dies and her last words will be a reference to Season 1 and Will may become a little helpet monkey for Vecna or as the season progresses becomes more distant from his friends and family and when Joyce tries to talk to him he accidentallly snaps out and kills her and at that point becomes a full avatar for Vecna orrrrrr hear me out, Eddie is seen and Vecna is where Eddie is and he raises Eddie up from the dead kind of like how El did to max and Eddie becomes his new avatar and is like trapped in a theoretical mind cage but he like fights it as the season progresses and thinks to Metallica songs and somehow escapes Vecna and gains an advantage on him weakening his powers by the mind. Another theory is that Erica is a huge helper in the series and has finally become an UpsideDown fighting girl and knows how to wirld a gun from Nancy. Enzo definetly dies. My final theory is a basic one of Steve sacrificing himself and his sacrifices makes them get the upper hand on Vecna and that his final words will be; "Looks like you dont need a babysitter anymore"

Hopper will probably not die, since he already “fake died” before. And Steve has a low chance of dying because if he had to die he would in season 4

regarding the mind flayer going against vecna theory-it’s my understanding that the mind flayer is dead. there was an interview i watched with dacre montgomery and/or the duffer brothers a while ago in which they implied this. i can’t remember exactly what interview it was and who all was there, but i distinctly remember one of them saying that there was discussion about how billy’s death in season 3 was the mind flayer’s death as well. the reasoning was that since he was still flayed and it was the mind flayer that killed billy, the mind flayer also killed itself by lashing out at him. but then again, there were particles in the russian prison that were actively moving so it could have been some inconsistencies in the lore or something. but regardless, im not sure if the mind flayer is even going to be a part of s5. also an argument could be made that the mind flayer is an extension of vecna’s will and not an individual or entirely different entity from vecna.

Vecana didn't start the invasion because the gates hadn't fully opened yet because Max only died for a minute the gates didn't open all the way and that's why no gate was opened in the upsidedown when Steve Nancy and Robin were there so i think Max still hiding in Vecana's mind who is trying to kill her and the team is looking for a way to get her out of the mind his to stop him If you think this is a good theory, please like it👇

I think (unfortunately) that either Steve, Jonathan or Nancy will die, cause I think that the Duffers will take the coward's way out when it comes to who will end up with who. I hope they don't. But it feels like it's gonna happen.

I think max is already dead. When she was really dead in the creek house the upside down cracks started to open. Then they kinda stopped when she came back to life. if you think about it, everyone from the main group except will has a happy ending that can happen. so i think vecna will take over wills body and at the end will will come out of it eventually killing vecna

Hopper is about to die and enzo comes out of no where and kills the demegorgan who is trying to kill hopper and the camera moves up slowly and shows enzo standing there kinda like what they did with hopper in season 3

Here are my theories : 1. Dustin will sacrifice himself to save a friend, most likely Steve since he would feel responsible for Eddie’s death, he would want to make sure that no more of his friends have to die for him. 2. Will is, for lack of better terms, a horcrux of Vecna that allows him to stay alive. That’s why after being set on fire, shot point-blank with a shotgun, and falling several stories out of a building, he’s still alive. Will and Vecna obviously have a connection, so it would make sense that in order for Vecna to finally be defeated, Will is going to have to die. Either by Mike or maybe a sacrifice play or suicide. 3. If Mike does kill Will to defeat Vecna, I can see that being the final straw in Nancy and Johnathon breaking up. By the end of the show, I think Steve and Nancy will end up together again. 4. Billy will return somehow. I stole this theory from a friend of mine who noticed that the number on Billy’s license plate is “235”. He showed up in seasons 2 and 3, and maybe could make an appearance in season 5. (Not too likely to happen, but seeing Billy join the gang to take down Vecna after his sacrifice in season 3 would be cool). 5. Vecna will take on the form of a Dragon. Nancy’s vision showed her a giant monster with a large mouth, Hawkins was on fire, and Will even painted a picture of the party fighting a dragon.

It would be cool, if there is a good ending, that them saving the world from vecna got broadcasted on tv so then all the kids bullies from earlier in the seasons got to see “who they really are” 😬

I think max ends up waking up either the end of episode 3 or 4. And her likely having powers similar to eleven and then vecna, coming out in full power in episode 6 or 7

I don't think they are going to kill Max or Hopper, I feel like those two are the only ones safe, and the reason I say that is both of them already had a fake death, and if they were going to die in the end the Duffer Brothers wouldn't have kept them alive, hell, they had a whole season of getting Hopper back to El, they aren't going to kill him.

Eleven has nothing to do with the Upside downs existence. It was there before she was born. And the Vecna origin scene we see on screen, isn't Henry's first time there.

I don’t want this to happen bc these are my two favorite characters but it would be insane if Dustin sacrifices himself for Steve so the same thing that happened to Eddie doesn’t happen to Steve.
