Jieun is shown living with a female roommate in this episode and what you need to know is that the rent system is insane in Korea. Basically you save up for one HUGE deposit before you can rent a property (this is known as key money) and that's why Jongwoo is living in a goshiwon, he has to save up several paychecks to be able to get his own place. It's not as easy as Jieun asking for money back from her landlord and leaving her nice high-end apartment before her contract is up or letting someone else stay with them without her roommate and landlords's permission. It's all very controlled even if it was seen (socially) as okay for them as a couple to live together. On top of that, Jongwoo is shown to be very proud and particular about how he's seen - the way he sends money to his mother that he himself needs, the way he dislikes his boss/friend's charity - so I think there's just no way he would ask his girlfriend to stay at her place and be "dependent"/be seen as mooching off of her. And again, there's class issues between them. Without spoilers for later episodes, you can see in the first four episodes that she's working a demanding but prestige office job and living in a nice place, even if she too can't afford to live there without a roommate. There's a gap between them. So that's why Jongwoo can't go to her and crash at her place like an American couple or a couple with a different social dynamic might do.

I love your guys reactions ❤ the author guy has another really good show called "run on" its much lighter but it's also really good i recommend it and there's a shorter series called "love for love's sake" kinda underrated but it has similar vibes(not similar plot) to lovely runner and is a bit older than it i also recommend that >>>
This show is just too scary. When MC was stalking the twins, Im glad that they didnt do the "bottle dropped" thing, but instead had the MC grab it. Too many shows do that "bottle dropped" thing and is annoying.
If you wanna try to watch Chinese drama, i'm recommend you one of the best Chinese drama is called My Journey To You. I hope you can watch that drama. Because it is a great drama. That's just my suggestion. And actually i always like your reaction guys
