Makes me sad when someone tells a parent or friend "I love you" and they automatically think there's something wrong ("are you ok?")... Shows how telling our loved ones that we love them is so rare, that it sounds like something's happening.

I get that but most people don't call only to say that. They'll end their conversation that way. It might alarm someone when you call to say " I love you". Especially in the world we live in where you can't even go to the grocery store without someone pulling a gun.
