As Summer draws to a close, Strasburg's 89 is working hard with #90 (In the other video). Today 89 worked the half hour trains, putting on quite a show with her Pennsylvaina 3-Chimer
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your prompt reply! I appreciate that and also the additional information especially since I am planning a trip to Jim Thorpe and the Lehigh Valley in the fall!
Tim White Maybe someday #89 could get a D&RGW 3 Chime (Same sound as #473's whistle), CNJ 3 Chime, Crosby 3 Chime, SP 6 Chime and Logging 3 Chime. Any ideas and thoughts?
Please tell me WHERE this train ride is located! I see it has an open car and I am looking for such a train ride. Would appreciate your response. THANKS!
From one railfan to another; I see that you know your stuff. But to be honest, in all my days, I have never seen a comment as old as yours: 10 years. wheww.
The 89 doesn't have nearly enough power to run on mainline excursions, the 90 on the other hand could probably run mainline if the track speed is low enough, like no more than 45 mph.
