Strat-O-Matic NFL Football Game Opening 

Hello Sports Man Z! I already subscribe to you on my personal channel. Added you on this channel. Thanks for the sub and comment! I have heard nothing but good things about this game. I just learned basic for Strat-O-Matic Basketball and just shot my first basic game video on it. When I have time planning on doing the same for Strat-O-Matic Football. Learn basic and do a video then move on to Advanced. Strat-O-Matic baseball I have been playing super advanced for years. Not planning any videos for baseball right now as after computer fire have to decide on new stat keeping program first.

Yes you should. Of course when I learn to play it I will be doing a video too. But I haven't gotten there yet. I just learned the basic for basketball and shooting a video on that right now. Going to learn basic for football and do the same. Then doing Advance and super advanced. Already know strat baseball. I would watch your video. Anything to help me learn too!

Yes there is a PC version of the game available at the Strat-O-Matic website. I have not tried it yet, so I can't give a fair assessment. From what I have heard it is easier to keep stats and can play through games a lot quicker. But I have heard the game is at it's best in card and dice with 2 people playing against each other. Of course right now I am struggling with getting together to play games due to Covid so have not had the opportunity to play head to head game yet to see if that's true too.

There is three levels of difficulty. You have Basic, Advanced, and Super Advanced. Super Advanced is the most complicated. Basic is usually just more bare bone play style. You pick and choose which rules you want to follow. If something seems too complicated. Ditch it. Fun is the main focus of Strat games. You can mix and match rules to fit how complicated you want the game to be. I will probably do a game demo video on the three sets of rules when I finally sit down and learn and play the game.

They have card and dice along with a computerized version of the game. They usually also sell package deals where you can have both. I have done that before with Baseball. You can play anyway you prefer which is great. Along with any of the rules you want to use. Which is always great. I am a big fan of the company as you can see. lol.

@@playproperly1825 do you know anything about Avalon Hill Statis Pro. I had basketball and baseball from them. Both great game as well. Is there a store to purchase them also?

I have some great memories of Avalon Hill. I loved their games. Statis Pro I never played but heard of them. Some people swear by them. I believe they are still around but haven't looked at them since I first went looking for a baseball games online years ago. I did the research back in 2015 so I can't remember off hand.

I was very happy with it. I am actually been stuck working on my latest video in which I do a basic game between Seattle and Denver. So my next video will have the solitaire system in use. Hopefully I can get the editing done on it very soon. It should be my next video posted.

There is names on the defensive cards with stats. You do not get individual defensive player cards. I haven't played advanced or super advanced yet so I assume the defensive stats will become more important in those play modes.
