Why am I so turned on by this performance? The raw, wild, sexual energy of it, the bare chests, the almost angry sound and the thrill of hearing Brian swear at the end. All verrrrry arousing. I need a cold shower now.
I saw these Stray Cats shortly after the first record in a club in ATL. They were not this polished, but their enthusiasm made up for it. I bought the album the next day, and wish I still had it!!!
I give a HELL of a lot of props to Brian, this kind of music is so so so so so so incredibly difficult to play and if you don't think so, try playing it in front of a crowd by yourself
Rumor has it they had to do some restoration work on the Gretsch guitar he played that night. He spanked it like it was his woman and it got a little fire damage.
Played this last night at Pacific Amp in Costa Mesa 16 Aug 2018....sounds a lot tighter, wow & still obviously still amazing. Viva the Stray Cats! Love Love Love them!!
Love Brian Setzer! Did I just here him use the “F” bomb? “ she’s fine f**ken fine looking man, she’s something else” . Not opposed to it , I just didn’t expect it. Lol
Les Stray Cats tout le mondes et les groupes des années 80 leurs doivent la reconnaissance du coeurs d avoir fait revivre le rockabilly dans sont éthiques. Stray Cats des légendes bien vivantes.
I think Setzer is the only one who can make eddie's cover without criticizes, yeah i know Eddie is the real king, but a great man must to have your great fan!!
+Ur Mum AW YOU'RE CORRECT.......I UNDERSTAND...i love this band so much..I can't get enough of them...always loved them...especially his older music...but I would like anything they play.....and since I was wrong in saying that...I'm just making it shorter so you can read this...then you can delete this and I will too.
Yeah, not too bad I guess , but Keith Richard's Boston 93' live performance is heaps better . His distinct sonorous vocal intonations make it vastly superior , more in the spirit of Eddie's unrivalled original .
