my heart aches for that poor girl. I hope she never finds out he was on stream, and manages to put this incident out of her mind. the thought of being sexually harassed at 14 is bad enough, imagine finding out you had an audience. the guy's got 6k subs on kick, there's no telling how many people watched it happen.
@@jr1252 unfortunately there's not really any basis for charges. they've never interacted before or since, so he can just say it was a one-off bad joke. it would be like trying to prosecute a random cat-caller.
I was not expecting to hear that grown man say what he said while absent mindedly listening to this while eating my spaghetti. I gasped so hard I near choked to death on that said spaghetti. I genuinely appreciate all your videos though.
People are just going to start blaming AI for everything they do wrong, and everything they don't want to believe is true was just generated by AI, aren't they?
If you ever have one of those nights where you're trying to sleep but keep being reminded of those awful things youve said or awkward moments youve had throughout your life, just keep in mind you probably havent done or said anything nearly as bad as the streamer shown in the video, sweet fucking Christ.
Every survivor of childhood SA likely knows from the look on his face, exactly how dangerous this guy is. I'd nearly bet my life on the fact that he's already physically offended against a child. Why don't we live in a society where the mere existence of this footage would lead to a conviction for a crime? Cause what he did can't possibly be legal... even if its a misdemeanor.
The kinds of Bibles I'd throw are those really old, really thick family bibles that take up half the coffee table with the heavy leather/wooden covers.
I've been playing with/working with AI image generators, video interpolators, and audio replacement apps for a little more than 5 months. That video looks like unaltered footage. Chilling, foul, unaltered footage.
75% streamers on Kick who are in the IRL/Travel category are in third-world countries (Thailand is a biggie) where the streams contain of everything from regular drug abuse, sex trafficking and illegally recording females in sex acts. If a streamer gets complained about, they get 3, yes that's 3 whole days of suspension and then their channel is given right back to them with no restrictions. One streamer named CoolSlickLive said that he had contracted HIV and after a weekend of partying said that he had been with 7 people. Because of the location of Kick itself, the servers and the streamers, getting any law enforcement involved is a painfully ridiculous feat. I don't believe in evil, but if I did, Ed Craven would be at the top of my list. (Apologies for the novel.)
The fact that instead of saying something like "oh my god! WTF?! Everyone, please know that is not me and that someone is using some kind of AI to impersonate me! I would never do something like that! I'm so sorry to those girls for whoever did that to them!" And instead is acting so careless about the situation speaks volumes. Even if it was AI, he still doesn't seem to care that someone is making him out to be a pedo and thinks it's the equivalent to smoking cigarettes.
I feel like "it was Ai" is the new "it's just a joke". I feel like everyone is blaming Ai for bad behaviour this week. A TV station in my country tried to blame Photoshop ai for editing a female political chest biggest and her outfit more revealing. I use Photoshop for work Photoshop dosent have a magic do my work button.
Oh my god when he asked if he could "play" with something and the sounds he made... I actually dry heaved. Disgusting. I'm so sorry that you probably had to watch that clip multiple times while making this video.
Like dude is not well known enough for anyone to make a deepfake of him. What a scary thought though that ppl might blame AI on crimes they commit, or are actually framed in the future as it gets better 😢
The reason Kik started with "no rules" is that is was their only selling point to get streamers to leave Twitch. They saw all the streamers getting banned for doing bad shit and saw it as a gap in the market. They wanted to be the wild west of streaming. Incredibly disgusting in my opinion that this behavior is actually part of their business plan
The harrassment and grooming of minors has been going on on Kik for so many years. It was infamous for it when I was a minor. When someone online asked me to go on Kik as a minor I knew to block and never talk to them again. I’d still do the same thing now tbh. The company never did a thing about it and as you said it was basically their USP.
I know that there must be some people on that site who aren’t absolutely unhinged but the amount of unforgivable, obnoxious, or downright criminal behaviour that finds its way into the online news cycles at large or just other social media is… absolutely wild.
Is there no organisation in the US which holds media broadcasters accountable if they break the law with what they broadcast? We have OFCOM in the UK which prosecutes and fines media companies that broadcast illegal content here.
I don’t think that would even be possible. He was on Omegle or something similar it looks like. (Edit: oh they’re on Kick). It was live with those girls. So how would someone make a fake him to be live with people.. and yea his reaction also speaks it all. Any innocent person would WANT to speak on it. They’d be disgusted and mad.
I've been seeing a few predators use the excuse of AI when they get caught doing some henious. This isn't the first and definitely wont be the last. It's a sad state of affairs. I need to go outside and touch grass now because i feel unwell lol. Good day!
I've never interacted with the streaming service, but had kik as the chat app back in the day and let me tell you 💀 a lot of fuckery and grooming was happening on the app with people way older than me as a minor.
I almost spit out my food. That's not even close to being funny! I have nieces that age and ya girl would go to jail if someone said something like that to them
It's pretty disheartening to see that Kik has not changed in the slightest since I was 14, and current 14yr olds are still getting harrassed on there bc the platform is a breeding ground for predators
I skipped over this when it dropped cause I mean "Streamer being creepy" is literally a "yeah what else is new" for me at this point but damn worse than I thought.
