F no. How boring. Now we get the same match again??? Give Punk Regins at WM and then on the 2nd night give Rhodes the rock. If they had any balls, they would have the rock turn heel and lose to rhodes. Then Rhodes could unify the belts and the rock could turn again and fight his nephew down the road. Instead we get this boring match?? God I yearn for 1992 sometimes.

@@kingrobthegreat7446first off, why the hell would Rhodes v Rock *ever* be a thing? Especially with Rock eyeing a match with Reigns. Second, we're never going to get heel Rock again. He's just too popular for that, the ship has sailed. Thirdly they just did a title unification at 38, another unification with a relatively new title is the last thing we need. And fourthly, if you honestly yearn for 1992, you know the Pre-steroid trial times, it just sort of says something about the kind of wrestling fan you are.

1. I knew cody was winning from the moment punk said the dusty's kid line 2. No way they're letting cody win back-to-back royal rumbles (this btw hasn't happened since 1998 with stone cold steve austin) just to have him lose again. No seth, no punk and sure as hell no dwayne johnson will stop cody this time

@@Philthorn that’s sad, now we’re gonna be forced to watch the little 3 1/2 star match Cody is not a main event guy . He’s never had a classic match in his life, with punk you know it’s a guaranteed classic at wrestlemania because that’s where he shines.

@@Philthorn Yeah WWE know they gotta rewrite that wrong that did last year & at first I didn't hear Punk talk about Dusty & the way Punk was getting a whole lot of offense in I should've known that Cody was about to get him + come on now I know Stond Cold was the last person to back2back wins in the rumble + even though I don't care Seth vs Punk can still happen at Mania.

Respect for CM Punk for putting over Cody. He's literally a work horse, deserves to finish his story and win the World Championship being the face of the company. The Rock would never had denied the opportunity to win the Rumble and face Roman at WM, burying Cody's story. He even buried Punk's well deserved WM Main event in 2013. CM Punk better finish his story as well by turning heel, winning the 2025 Rumble and main eventing Wrestlemania 41 night 2.

For those of you who wanted Cm Punk to win: DO NOT WORRY! He's still main eventing Night1 agains't Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Wrestlemania 40 wil be a great place to craft a story where 2 former AEW wrestlers where booed the heel out of there, but WWE welcomed those 2 with open arms.

Something just came to me: When the Rumble winners go back to back, they lose the first Mania match, then win the second. Hogan - ‘90, lost to Warrior / ‘91, beat Sgt. Slaughter HBK - ‘95 lost to Diesel / ‘96 beat Bret Hart Stone Cold - ‘97 (didn’t fight for the title) lost to Bret Hart / ‘98 beat HBK And now Cody - ‘23 lost to Roman Reigns / ‘24 ?

Well to be honest 😮 It was a disappointment 😞 many botches and no surprises at all! That could only mean now that we might see a mixed tag team match at wm40. The rocks maybe only chance to fight side by side with his daughter he wouldn't miss. Against Roman and ........ that's the question 😅
