Santizap's reaction is probably the best imo. Its more like he witnessed the greatest wrestlemania match of all time rather than just cody winning. Even going as far as to thanking that he isn't alone watching it's. It added to my tears man
Whole time with that Cross Rhodes trinity @ WM 40 I was thinking “don’t go to the ropes, do not go to the fucking ropes Cody I stg” right up until the 3 count lmao
This was actually an amazing idea. If we get another chance at something like this a year in the making, do it. Perhaps also do Cody winning both Royal Rumbles in back to back years comparisons
1 year ago, we had the bad ending. And now, 1 year later, we finally got a happy ending and Cody Rhodes finally finished the story! And I was there live at Mania last week to witness Cody’s victory!
I love reading all of the same names in the chats saying how they were done with WWE after 39 and then saying 40 is the best wrestlemania ever. It’s hilarious
To any streamers or viewers who wanted Roman to win and was upset when he lost, know this: you are not a wrestling fan, you are a Roman fan. Wrestling fans want people to be pushed and get titles and not have one guy hog the belt for almost 4 years. And that is not enough for you? Yeah, we have no room for you in the new era. None!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I’m a Cody Crybaby but I will give Roman His flowers for carrying WWE from 2020 to 2024 especially finding out he was still going through leukemia, which again I still feel bad about, but Thank you Roman Reigns. But of course……. WELCOME TO THE WRENAISSANCE ERA
@@jasonag619 Vince deciding every big guy is a great wrestler and then sticking a belt on someone and having him hold it for years, does not mean he carried the company. Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Shinsuke, Gunther, Drew, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens carried the company. Roman was barely there and only defended that belt 24 times in almost 4 years. That is nearly once every two months on average. Carried the company lol wtf are u on? He did nothing for the prestige of that belt, he cheated to win every single time. He made people like me stop watching. If anything he hurt the company. Cody is the real Man. Roman needs help to win. Thank God Triple H is way smarter than Vince, understands what we want as fans, gives it to us, but also pushes everyone and doesn’t favour one guy over everyone else and hold them all back. Triple H is the new era and Vince will never be back to ruin it. I acknowledge Cody Rhodes. The man. The workhorse. Not some joker who barely showed up and made people want to stop watching.
@@ozzybloke-craig3690 u should "say for me",cause the reason me and my friends started watching WWE again was Roman, not Cody or The Rock. The Cody story for me worked because of how much of a big bad Roman was made to be. if people cared about Cody just winning the title his father never won, then they would've been fine with him winning it against anyone but we all wanted it to be Roman because it meant more if he beat "THE GUY" in wrestling. not giving Roman his well-deserved props especially knowing why(Leukemia) he has to be part-time makes u a fake wrestling fan not us
I enjoyed 40 a lot. I still hate WM39's finish to this day. And no, i wont say it was worth it in hindsight. I dont care. WM39's finish sucked. The "Story" should've been done that day
The ending of WM40 was amazing, but still does not make me think Roman winning at WM39 was the right choice. It resulted in a whole year extra of a, imo, stale and bad bloodline storyline and an awful Roman title reign.
I Have to Agree. I Like Roman Reigns. But I Was Getting Pretty Bored of His Reign As Champion. Plus There Were Times That the Bloodline Helped Roman Win. So Basically Some of Those Wins Shouldn’t Even Count. But I’m Glad That Cody Won Because I Was Ready for a Change
@@Mysteryz-li2pwOne fantastic night at WM40 night 2 does not make up for a whole year of bad storyline, champion not showing up and terrible matches the few times he does show up.
@@Keeperodd Cody losing added way more to “the story” than if he had just won right away. Also, not hate to Cody, but he shouldn’t have just won like that. The guy hasn’t been there for nearly a year cause he got injured. And even before he got injured he had just returned and had only had one feud and a couple of matches on RAW. In my opinion, there needs to be a proper build up of the person. We need to really see why they should be world champion. Him losing at last years mania allowed him to be properly built up to the world title without any injuries getting in the way. Sure Roman’s title reign got extremely stale after the bloodline downfall storyline was done, but in the long run it was worth it to keep the title on him.
