Here’s how it works:
1. Bottle Handling:
o Plastic containers arrive via two parallel feeds.
o The system splits the bottles into two lanes.
o A FANUC R-1000iA/80F arranges the bottles into 4-pack cases.
2. Stability Enhancement:
o In the divider inserter section, two FANUC M-10iD robots place corrugate between the bottles within each tray. This improves tray stability during stacking.
3. Efficient Bundle Formation:
o The Bundle Forming Unit (BFU) ensures continuous operation.
o It folds major case flaps and creates a pattern for palletizing.
o The system maintains an impressive 15-20% surge rate, completing 8-layer pallets in under four minutes.
4. Stretch Wrapping:
o A custom load lifter facilitates stretch wrapping.
o The stretch wrap head reaches from the top to the bottom of the pallet, ensuring secure wrapping.

Large loads of trays are quickly and securely created at speeds designed to keep up with both nominal and surge rates so that the production line is efficient, minimizing losses due to damage and maximizing productivity while improving safety for personnel.
