Justin, Don't know anything about live streaming, but having to learn in hurry for a scheduled first interview... For an older version of the MacBook Pro (2014), 8GB, could I use StreamYard? Ecamm site says I would need a Mac that's at least from 2015...

Hey Justin! Nice video and loving the new colour balance - shall we call it CoVid Colour? Great review of Stream Yard. I'm loving this software - only one glaring weakness with web-based software. It's missing the virtual cam send feature that I use in eCamm to send the stream to a Zoom or Skype Meeting. Darren.

you could do this by using software like ecamm, manycam or obs to add the scores, then use their virtual camera features to then broadcast through to streamyard.. or just use one of those other apps for both

I want to do my 1st YT live and only tried a while ago BeLive (trial version), I liked it but it goes to FB and download quality of file was super low like 360p? I have those 2 lives on my channel. Q: how long is the max length of the live in the free version of StreamYard?

Another great video. A few things. I wish they add IG live since that's the next biggest live streaming platform after Facebook. Also I would love if you did a video of the animations of you that you had in this video. I would love to know how you do that. 👍🏾

The biggest reason to go with the Pro plan is for 1080p rather than 720p, but you didn't even mention it. 🙂

It's Streamyard for me because I must use my mobile phone for streaming. I use either its Chrome browser version with the desktop option or the mobile version. And now they are you to three locations on the basic plan.

Justin, GREAT review of Streamyard. I do a live concert every Monday evening with acoustic guitar and vocals through a PreSonus StudioLive USB mixer. I left Streamyard for OBS with Castr.io for a better quality audio several months ago. With the improvements to Streamyard, how is the quality of the audio? Has it improved enough for live music? Thanks for all you do! Your videos are amazing and VERY helpful.

Thanks Ken! On the Audio side of things it sounds like your requirements would be more specific than mine.. I can say Ecamm has amazing audio quality for livestreaming, and a lot more options than StramYard for that.. but in my experience the audio quality has been more than good enough quality for my use case
