He said before you buy man I already got the Ultimate Edition like no brainer without even thinking I know what to expect from a game that I have been playing since the 90s this is the only game I play or worth my time.
Same man. I'm not huge on fighting games as I'm just not great at all the inputs and in turn I get absolutely shit on.. But the new modern control system has me absolutely hooked!
I think you got a couple of minor details wrong there. Akuma's release is spring 2024. And about the drive mechanics, Drive Impact is an almost unblockable offensive move, which has armor. Meaning it can absorb your opponents moves as you attack with it. It's pretty strong.
@@demidevilqueen yeah, it staggers when blocked, even mid screen. I think it eats a bunch of meter from the defender too. So you shouldn't block it if you know it's coming. I guess that is too much to say in a video like this though xD
@@neutraljump Oh, it only eats half a drive bar if you block it, while their wasting a whole bar to use it, lol. It also leaves the negative. So for someone who can't react to counter DI or throw it, blocking mid screen is fine!
Played the beta and its entertaining. Definitely not preordering or buying first year. I'll wait till its 50% off and all the dlcs came out. Very good game from what I played.
"Ryu Shin's Shoryuken" Big oof. Hopefully that was a slip of the tongue. If that's not the case, I hope this game interests you enough to learn the most iconic character's name.
@@localcomicnerd Street Fighter Tweeted on 20APR... Behold, the next legendary fighters to join #StreetFighter6! 🌪️ Rashid - Summer 2023 💅 A.K.I. - Autumn 2023 🥊 Ed - Winter 2024 😈 Akuma - Spring 2024
I feel the entire creativity and detailing went into deejay's charecter. The other charecters look horrible and cartoonish. Only deejay looks cool and real. I dont know why the creators did this. The same level of detailing and improvisation should have been in ether characters as well. They look the same as earlier versions and more cartoonish and horrible.
I agree, most facial expressions look so goofy and the bulk of sf6 characters don't look intimidating at all anymore. The vibes have become too happy imo...
Something tells me Battle Hub will be Street Fighters GTA 5 Online. People are going to throw so much money at it, they probably wont have another street fighter for years.
@@Kobetombrady I am comparing the first time GTA5 made GTA Online for the first time. Rockstar has been delaying their next release due to the success of GTA Online with DLC's etc. I know Street Figther Fans, they will buy anything street fighter. So I feel if this Online Service works out, Capcom may invest more time in DLC's in promoting the service rather then innovating the game itself. Don't take it from me, Valve done it, Unreal has been doing it with Fortnite and GTA is doing it now. That is my point. I feel most of these Triple A game companies automatically want to hit the Jackpot like Blizzard did with WoW. Blizzard use to release new titles almost every 4 or 5 years, after WoW, that has been their main focus, everything else is second. We got Diablo coming out but diablo 2 came out 23 years ago.
You'll get to play Ryu as much as you want. They have an arcade mode too. And if you want your world tour mode chatacter play and look like ryu, just pick his moves and dress like him
#1 thing you need to know: It comes out in less than a month. #2 thing you need to know: If this your first Street Fighter, you will grow to hate curse the from Street Fighter IV, THE FLOWCHART KEN.
and here i am just wanting to throw hadukens and wait for you to jump so i can uppercut you. lol j/k these games have overcomplicated themselves. MK12 was like that also. So does that mean 6 button players will be forced to play against Modern Button mashers? I will not preorder and wait until more information
Yeah, classic controls and modern controls are all tournament and ranked match legal. Modern controls apparently deal a bit less damage than classic. And modern doesn't have access to as many moves as classic either. So you should be fine if you learn how to play.
Don't forget that all the characters themes are gone so Guiles theme now goes with anything but SF6 the rainbow splats are distracting from the action just like the bland, boring and annoying commentator who also distracts from the action fortunately can be turned off. The game basically feels like a DEF JAM Fighter withe the Street Fighter cast dropped in with some new uninteresting characters in the end if you love Street Fighter then this game is not for you.
As an MK fan, it’s really weird seeing how much praise the world tour “story mode” is getting. I mean it looks absolutely atrocious and extremely silly from everything I’ve seen unless I’m missing something? but I’m excited to play the main game as that looks fun
Why does World Tour mode look like garbage though. It's like they tried to cram in every little thing to resemble today's popular games to appeal to all types of gamers and it ends up being a watered down mess.
@@Nathan_Coley No, not at all. Some japanese publishers won't put CERTAIN games on Xbox because they don't think they will sell well (eg. Megaman Battle Network Collection for a Capcom example), but there's no chance Capcom would not put say, the next Resident Evil on Xbox (unless paid not to do so by someone).
I think the main game looks good but what’s with all the hype around the “story mode?” That absolutely looks atrocious in every possible way but it’s getting all the praise in the world and I don’t get it. It’s a glorified training/tutorial mode where you take your freak character running around PS2 graphics world fighting refrigerators and generic dudes using the moves of characters from the main roster as you learn their movesets. I don’t call that a story mode I mean I’m extremely critical of the NRS story modes for small red cons and lore but after seeing this, I guess I should be more grateful
I’m 35 and have been playing SF since 3rd strike so no and no! Also, I said the main game looks great and fun but the world tour looks trash and just completely silly and it’s getting all the praise as some new gold standard in fighting game “story modes” and that’s nonsense IMO
Because it's not a rip-off? The two aren't even remotely similar at all? Like, huh? The only similarities are just character creation and. Training to get different attacks.
@accelerateall9996 it's not really inspired either. The whole custom character and training under other characters to gain attacks isn't a new series that xenoverse made up
