12:10 Can we just talk about how Yoko Harmageddon was able to carry a whole ass truck tire under _one arm?!_ Seriously, I'm kinda glad she was never playable, she'd even destroy Marisa.
I have been searching for that Ryu and Ken pose 0:44 for years. Perform it once on my GBA, never could replicate it ever again. Someone directed me to this video and I'm so glad that they did. Super happy
You missed one for Rose: She hides behind the joker card as well, but instead of emerging in her ball gown, she disappears. If I remember correctly, she automatically does this once she wins the match against Dictator in Final Battle.
@@Nerdemia I just played SFA3 Max. I was able to do it on Dramatic Battle mode, with A-ism Rose. I don't think partner choice matters. Once you win the last match against Dictator, she does it automatically.
@@Nerdemia Well, imagine yourself being chased by police. You’re not going to just stand there and *let* them get you (no wonder he squeals) [don’t get me wrong, *I* like Cody’s victory pose - that one’s much better than the first one he does, in the clip before].
There's actually a variant of the chase not shown in this video between Edi. E. and Cody where Cody then comes back on screen and kicks Edi. E. off screen lol
It's a damn shame that this version most likely will never get ported because the arcade version is often prioritized, even tho MAX is the best version.
@@Nerdemia In the SP one, he stands smiling with his eyes closed and you can hear him saying “Adiós”, which means good-bye in spanish, the other one is the same but, he puts a rose in his mouth.
@@Nerdemia I really want to see him bounce back. Ngl, I haven't kept up with the story after not getting into Street Fighter 4 and this sudden plot change alone has me extremely curious.
I really like Zangief’s laugh, which he does when flexing his muscles - don’t get me wrong, but three of the best victory poses are his at 14:46, M Bison’s at 25:35, and Blanka’s at 13:02 (in the version *I* had - PS1, these three characters only had these poses if and when defeating clones of themselves). Additionally (seems to be) missing, from the PS1 version, is katana Sodom’s pose, at 3:16.
The Ryu and Ken one I only ever got once. Any other time I try to get it again Ryu just makes the first pose in the video and leaves Ken on the floor. Do I have to press any buttons or how does it trigger?
@@Nerdemia I had it happen on the ps1 version years ago. But I remember I was kinda lame at the game and never picked V-ism as I didn't know how to get it hahaha
You get it by either finishing the match with either a vism custom combo finish or a level 3 super combo finish with A-ism or a super combo finish with x-ism.
Speaking of rare victory animations, I swear that the meditating monk in Dhalsim's background stage will occasionally float higher and have an aura around him after a round ends, am I wrong or does that happen sometimes?
No you’re not - *I* had a crush on *all* the females in this game (not *just* R Mika) - Chun Li (although in her classic X-ism outfit - I found her even better looking in *this* game, than back in the three SF II series SNES games, from the early 90s - the World Warrior, Hyper Fighting and the New Challengers), Cammy (the same - I additionally found *her* better looking in this game, than back in the SF II early 90s SNES series - ‘the New Challengers’), Sakura, Karin and Rose (yes, even Juli and Juni - the two Shadaloo dolls). Heck, I, later, began feeling the same as the females from EX Plus Alpha - Hokuto, Pullum and Blair (Blair’s the only one of the three not to return in EX 2). That’s 11 Street Fighter females who I had a crush on. By pressing the triangle (jab), on the character select screen, in EX Plus Alpha, Blair (again, who, unlike Hokuto and Pullum, doesn’t return in EX 2) wears a black leotard and white jackboots. Not only do I love *Blair’s* white boots, but I love R Mika’s white boots (and I quite like Rose’s purple shoes). Most of all, I’ve, actually, *two* namesakes in Street Fighter - M Bison and (one of the females) R Mika (given that her name is a female, foreign equivalent of ‘Michael’).
Since the Alpha series mostly rehashes its graphics, most of these win poses in Alpha 3 can be viewed in Alpha 2 (arcade) by pressing Start + any of six buttons.
Some of these victory poses are completely missing from the version for the original PlayStation - PS1 (eg. Balrog’s pose at 5:13, Rainbow Mika’s pose at 12:09, and - how could you not love it - Cody’s pose at 26:00).
I always crack up at Zangief's interactions with Blanka, especially when he ends up roasting the pirarucu (the name of the fish Blanka is holding) a little too much 🤣🤣🤣

@@KenMasters. I'm looking forward to KoF13 being released on the Switch. I heard it features unique dialogues between characters at the start of each match. I think KoF13 will be the closest thing we'll see to a classic 2D fighter.
Missed one with Akuma. Does the same pose where he turns his back to the camera with the "ten" symbol glowing, but says "Shoushi" (Japanese for pathetic).
Besides the one with Rose dissapearing and the couple of Balrog without the mask, You miss the next ones: Dee Jay. Same as the one with the maracas but instead he says: "loooser" in a funny voice. Gouki and Shin Gouki say something when they turn back and the symbol appears. Karin. She poses the same but her butler doesnt show up. Cody. Same as the one with Edi but they come back on screen and then Cody kicks Edi out of the screen. ps. I have never seen the one with Birdie giving the finger. Awesome!!
Yes, after you defeat your oponent, hold down the next buttons Dee Jay: Medium Kick Karin: Hard Kick Gouki/Shin: Hard Punch o Light Kick Cody: Any button but LP, but its totally random and the chances of getting this one are low. You may get the one where he flies away and doesnt come back.
Me neither! You said it! No doubt this video is ‘awesome’ (this *game* is awesome, as are the first two games of the EX Street Fighter series, for the PS1 - EX Plus Alpha and EX2) [again, the original PlayStation console]. These three games do beat the three Street Fighter II series games (all from the early to mid 90s, and mainly released on the SNES - the World Warrior, Hyper Fighting and the New Challengers).
Actually there is a victory animation for Vega (Claw & Mask) if he is un-masked where he simply stand and put a rose in his mouth and say "Adios". And for Cody first he did the 2nd victory pose. And runs back the screen and kick off the cop chasing him and do the 1st victory pose.
It's missing Vega's win pose where he faces the screen and says "Adios" with a rose in his mouth. This is why despite sentiments from fans, I never consider the PSP version to be the definitive version of SFA3. That honor goes to the PS2 port!
Nah, the supreme port (because it's accurate to the arcade version, gameplay wise, and it has the extra chars) is the Saturn one. Rest of versions always had weird tweaks.
Bruh you can't tell me when Balrog beats Maki and her booty is up on display and he takes his shirt off, nobody thought the same nasty thing that I did lmao XD
