Street Fighter has had it's fair share of silly combos, but how about an infinite that can be done with 1 button? Original ScrewAttack video: • Top 10 BROKEN Fighting...
So I kid you not, I’m lying in bed tonight and pulled up some RU-vid to wind down. Last thing I expected to see in the preview was my ugly mug. Thanks for the shoutout and for educating the people on the only Street Fighter character who matters! Subscribed.
Nick, you have no idea how stupidly big my grin was when I read your comment. Massive thanks to you and the screwattack team for the content over the years.
I remember seeing this in the arcade when the game released, it wasn't too hard to avoid getting hit by. Third strike was a complete failure at my arcade AND was $19.99 around a week after its released on Sega dreamcast and came bundled with 2nd impact. It became "Greatest fighter" shortly after the Justin/Diago moment #37 You played Third strike waiting in line for soul calibur or tekken tag or whatever other current fighting game out at that time.
@@harryvpn1462 yes, because of moment #37 which really isn't anything at all😂. I remember one cabinet had to go... it was Kof 95, Guilty Gear X2 or 3rd Strike. The regulars voted sf 3rd Strike be removed. I remember kof 95 arrived at my arcade around May 96 and left when mvc2 came in
@@harryvpn1462 I mean, you'd think kof 95 would leave before 3rd Strike if anything just because of its graphics. I just remember thinking that was odd at the time, that's before I truly understood what a quality fighting game was vs an overhyped mainstream title.
My friend had actually told me Ibuki had an infinite when we were playing the SF collection because I'm an Ibuki main, however we were playing 2nd impact. He had told me about the wrong game lol. I thought I was crazy and my timing was just bad or something but now I know it was definitely the wrong game. This gave me a good laugh though, all in good fun
If anyone has never sat down with a friend and mashed out matches of New Generation or Second Impact then you absolutely have to give both versions a try. They're very, very fun and IMHO hold up well (and much better than early SFII version when compared to Super Turbo). At a really high level the top tiers absolutely dominate, but in a more casual setting these games are a blast. And the visual / audio fidelity is much better than Third Strike. I'm not talking aesthetic, just the actual quality. The games are sharp and sound pristine as opposed the lower sample / bitrate of the Third Strike audio and the reduced visual clarity (a lot of concessions had to be made to fit the extra characters on the disc medium that CPS3 games used). Anyway, all I'm saying is that they're fun. Check 'em out!
This is intersting, i remember seeing this infinite on Theory Fighter's video about the oddities in all street fighter games, but it is twice as long as this video, so if u keep doin relative short videos about this kind of topics, that will be great, i'll be wating :3
A video on the infinite meter glitch in 2nd Impact would be cool. I couldn’t find a single tutorial about it in English. The only video I could find showing how to do it was in Japanese and it took a while for me to find it.
I did manage to learn how to do it so I’ll explain it here. The infinite meter glitch only works with Supers with a timer such as Yun/Yang’s SA3 and Oro’s SA1 and SA3. Universal Overhead(UOH)/Leap Attack is inputted with ⬇️⬇️+any punch or kick. But if you hit 2 (or all 3) punch or kick buttons at the same time like you would for an EX move, it will trigger a normal UOH but it will drain your meter as if you used an EX move. (This was a result of an oversight and was taken out in 3rd Strike.) EX moves can’t be used during Supers with a timer but for some reason, EX UOH can and will still drain a chunk of the meter during the timed Super. If you do an EX UOH at the right time during a timed Super, the meter will underflow and cause the game to freak out. This has to be done on the exact frame where the amount of time left on your meter during your timed Super is equal to the amount of meter an EX UOH would take away. If done correctly, your super meter will be glitched and you’ll have infinite meter. (Technically it’s not infinite but you’ll have over 60,000 full meters. Since it’s impossible to use up that many bars in a single match, it’s pretty much infinite)
Honestly New Generation is pretty underrated. Sure it's a 2nd Impact without EX moves, but it's still kinda nice. Character-wise... I actually play Elena even though she's consider trash tier and I kinda disagree with that. I think she's consider bad 'cause she's "missing" (because she gains more moves in later games) a lot of moves but anyway. Never tried Ibuki infinite tho... ps.: also prefer music-wise, ng has some gems
When people ask, "Why does nobody wanna play NG", you just show them this video...and then proceed to list every OTHER thing wrong with the game (In spite of the fact that I love all 3 versions of SF3.) Lol
Ahh that infinite combo is every much of every Ibuki Player's wet dream. With an infinite lovely feet kick. *Hien is my fav though. Too bad by SFV came along, they reduce the possible combos with her kicks on that game especially removing one many of her main kick specials.
I think this infinite must've been fixed in the Double Impact version of the game as I could never be able to chain a third heavy kick or am I just unlucky?
This whole game is utter kusoge. Nothing new for street fighter. The vanilla version of every game tends to be a broken mess, but out of all of them this one probably takes the cake for how poorly made it is.
@@nebiyuesayas5600 I said nothing about balance. I don't know what point you're trying to make but a bad game being bad has no bearing on a dumpster fire being even worse.
