১৫ই অগাস্ট গন্তব্য শ্রীরামপুর- সঙ্গে পেটপুজো (সৌজন্যে "ফুডকা")🙂🙂 একদিকে "মাহেশ", অন্যদিকে ইতিহাসের গন্ধ গায়ে মেখে বহু বিস্ময়ের সাক্ষী শ্রীরামপুর..... মন তো ভরলোই ;পেটও যোগ্য সম্মান পেল.... ১৮০ বছরের পুরোনো মহেশ চন্দ্র দত্তের বিখ্যাত মিষ্টি "গুটকে", ছানার গজা ...আহা ১০০ বছরের ঐতিহ্যশালী মদনের 'ডিমের ডেভিল', 'ফিসচপ', বাসন্তী কেবিন-এর 'মোগলাই'... শেষপাতে কুলপি মালাই😋😋 Just ফাটাফাটি....কয়েক ঘণ্টার এই অখন্ড অবসর মন্দ ছিল না.

Thanks for exploring Serampore my home town .. one fact which can be verified is that the William Carrey translated and printed the first Bengali Bible in India here from the Serampore press. Also the Botanical Garden in Howrah Shibpur was originally started here in Serampore and thereafter shifted to its current location.

The first Bengali book published was called "A Grammer of the Bengali Language" by Nathaniel Halhed in 1778. It was meant for teaching Bengali to the company clerks in Writers Building. The first prose work in Bengali to be printed was William Carey's Bengali translation of the New Testament, which was printed in 1800.

I just visited Mahesh Chandra Datt Sandesh Shop last year in 2021 from Mumbai and taste was great . I went to SERAMPORE for Audit Purpose. One Fuchkawala also very famous next to this shop towards Temple.

পুরো ভিডিওটা দেখলাম। খুব খুব খুব ভালো লেগেছে। শ্রীরামপুরবাসী হিসেবে গর্বটা আরও অনেকখানি যেন বেড়ে গেল। যদি আগে থেকে জানতে পারতাম যে আপনি শ্রীরামপুরে আসছেন তাহলে definitely দেখা করতে যেতাম। কিন্তু ভীষণ bad luck যে আমরা কেউ কিছুই জানতাম না + সেই সময় প্রচণ্ড শরীরটা খারাপ ছিল আমার। আপনাকে একবার সামনে থেকে দেখে জীবনটাকে সার্থক করতে চাই। জানি না সেই সুযোগ আর কোনোদিনও আসবে কিনা। কারণ আপনার লেভেলটাই যে পুরো আলাদা। Next video দেখার জন্য অধীর আগ্রহে আছি😊😊😊😊😊

দারুন লাগলো, স্পেশালী বাসন্তী কেবিনে যাওয়াটা আমায় টাচ করলো বেশ। এখনো মাঝে মাঝে যাই, ছোট বেলায় অনেক গেছি। অনেক স্মৃতিবিজড়িত। আগে উপরে বসেও খাওয়া হতো, এখন উপরের সেকশন বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে। আমার মনে হয় আবার ভিড় বাড়ানো উচিৎ এই বাসন্তী কেবিনে।

@@kuhalidhara7507 না স্টেশন থেকে একটু দূরেই। কালিতলার কাছে। ব্রীজের তোলা দিয়ে কালিতলার দিকে গেলে ব্রিজের বাম দিকে পরে। স্টেশন থেকে যেতে টোটোয় যেতে হলে পাঁচুবাবুর বাজারের মুখে নামতে হবে, একদম ব্রিজের তলায়। ওখানে যাকেই জিজ্ঞেস করুন দেখিয়ে দেবে। ওদিকে টোটো ছাড়া আর কিছু যায়না।

দিন যাচ্ছে আর আপনাদের উপস্থাপন আরো ভালো হচ্ছে। সত্যি কোলকাতাকে জানতে পারছি, আপনাদের ভিডিও দেখে এখন কলকাতায় বেড়াতে যেতে ইচ্ছে করছে। আপনাদের চ্যানেলটা আমার কাছে কোলকাতার ডায়রির মতো লাগছে। কখনও গেলে এই চ্যানেলের রেফারেন্স ব্যবহার করবো। কলকাতার লোক তাদের ঐতিহ্যকে আকরে ধরে রাখে। অসাধারণ।
