I live in NYC and I've known this hustle since I was like 8 or 9. Best way to win this game is to not play. I haven't seen it in about 10 years though. Now they just hustle chess, con you, or straight up rob you.

You've taught this very well. I learned this from another tutorial; but in that version, the beginning position for each round was always the position for the move, and it didn't teach the re-exposing. I like your version better. It seems cleaner......but now.... I'm thinking that actually combining the two methods might minimize any of those problem-solvers to catch on. It could have the reverse effect, too, though! (Just analyzing....and thinking out loud!)

Hey Chris! Long time fan, first time commenting. Not totally relevant to your video, but I did want to take the time to thank you for making me like magic again. I've been into it since I was five but i took a hiatus in highschool and college because I felt it was a bunch of old dudes name dropping and wearing denim with an elastic waist. People like you, Peter, Lloyd, Eric jones, Madison, the buck twins, etc have added that legitimate relatable factor that I needed to bring me back to magic again. I would love to see more tutorials that are on the line of spread and butter ( a super dope trick btw). Keep it up!

Chris forgot it another little "convincer" is you pick the two cards in reverse "money card" on top and loosing card on bottom. You show the bottom loosing card, do the sleight (throw the money card" and then show again you have "another" loosing card in hand (i.e. "throwing" your spectators to thing that the money card is the third card, none of the two you had in your hand). Theres also a beautyfull move with bent corner but I'll not explain that since its not my move

Very clever! Chris Ramsay is a legend! Oh and Chris, you're literally the best magician I've ever seen in my entire life! Like you do magic tricks that are actually fucking cool. Like the Tenkai Vanish and all the other really visual tricks, rather than just mathematical boring ones. I mean I still like math ones, but where the heck is the magic in that? ✨
