Street League Drone Racing | The Best Drone Racing Spec? 

What I really like about SL is you really only need 1 quad, 5 packs, 1 spare motor, esc, FC and some props and you can travel to any race. Just much easier than having to carry a ton of 5" spare parts, 4 -5 quads and you are going to break much less.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It is definitely a little intimidating at first but they're sooooo much fun to fly!

Awesome to see you back in action. Been pretty curious about these since i saw some of the DRL guys bring them to the night spot. I have really enjoyed freedom spec this past year, may have to look into these as well.

Looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately there aren't any Street League races close enough for me to drive it in a day, but I really want to build one and try it.

street league stuff is fun. i usually tell folks if they like freedom spec then they will love the street league/prig stuff. if they want spec on a budget then stick with freedom spec but if they have a little extra money to spend then once you get a prig built and the batteries and props purchased then that money does go a pretty long way. i'm doing a build with the pyro motors now so interested to see how this one feels compared to my older builds with the brother hobby motors

Well now I am even more excited to fly it. My #1 gripe with Freedom Spec is that feeling of bottoming out constantly or any time you make a tight turn having to completely change how you do it so you don't dip a motor into the ground. At least based on the comments a few of you made, this spec seems to fly similarly but noticeably getting rid of that bottoming out feel! Parts show up Monday, and then have to start pimping it out with all the TPU to make weight lol.

Regardless whether you like FS or SL more, I think everyone is starting to understand that the future of drone racing isn't open class, it's spec

I also wonder if this would help us secure some more "fun" venues for racing. Our parts are starting to arrive and I can't wait to build it up and fly it.

Nice to see you flying and doing Fpv content again! I live in Costa Rica and we have a hard time getting people into the Hobby and into races even with Freedom Spec where you can reuse all your components for open racing and freestyle. Looks a lot of fun, hope more people get into this.

Wow man I love that. I actually only fly on the DRL sim now but I love flying the racer 4 Street. I know it’s heavy as crap but I love it, and spec racing without any fear of really terret up your quad unless you really suck would be right up my alley I would love that.. thanks for putting this video out….
