Great work by you, I have been watching your videos which helped me a lot to learn about composition and photography basic things other than camera techniques, I had a doubt and thought of asking it, For black and white do we need to shoot in monochrome settings, or is it a post processing work??
It is better to shoot in RAW format if your camera has that feature. Once you have a raw, you can decide whether you want to have a color or black and white. If you use Adobe Camera Raw, converting into Black and White is quite simple too. If you want to send your pictures immediately to someone, then you can use in-camera monochrome settings. Some of the camera provides both RAW + JPEG. So, you can have Raw picture as well as whatever in-camera settings (eg: monochrome) picture.
