Moto Mayhem Shows how skilled of a rider he is using his own lane and not crossing the double yellow like some street Rossi’s out there. Do you know how many times I’ve almost seen an accident while riding the dragon with some guys who ride like that? Way too many.
@@TheRandomBikers > you create a DANGEROUS habit, if you do that on the streets... You don't always KNOW if there is no traffic! Josh didn't have the road blocked off just for him... nor do any of us when we go riding. The FUN and the Challenge of riding twisty roads IS the TWISTS and tight Curves! By double-lining, you are reducing the challenge! It isn't about "Racing" the road... it is about conquering the Twists and Turns... You should ALWAYS Stay on your side of the road when riding in public areas...!! If you ride the Dragons Tail, the LEO's don't bother you for 'speeding'... but WILL Jump on you for crossing the doubles or what they can see as Reckless or riding above your skills... I have talked with several of them, and they have all told me the same thing.
One of the most over looked bikes on the market. Love my XSR900 had it form launch back in 2016. Cracking engine and a ton of customisation. Quality video.
@@PsychoGirlMagnet1216 He means that there are a lot of aftermarket parts for you to choose for the xsr900. Like you can add a bar end mirror, or a tail tidy, or carbon fiber parts.
Well I assume everyone who rides that road does it all. But can’t really set up cameras on every corner. And it’s pretty obvious a closed road for that video
Seeing its not your bike explains why did not ride this bike harder than it should have been. You held the gears longer than i would have done which explanis it redlining alot.Good flow through the corners and you held the lines well.Thnx dude , keep safe.
Awesome video, love the corner-by-corner video shots of the run, must have taken all day to do it. Great riding too, very tidy, setting a great example of how to be fast and smooth. Shame you didn't get to slide around though, would have been even more fun to watch!
Josh, I gotta tell you man, I am enjoying these videos! You have made me think of this bike in a whole new light. Of course it doesn't hurt that you are the pilot in the saddle! Love the lane discipline, btw. Very strong. To me that is how street riding should be done. Anyway, diggin the energy, so keep 'em comin when ya can. I know this whole racing season thing is in the way right now. LOL! Rock on...
Bought a 2019 yamaha mt 09 last year these bikes have great low and mid range punch. Watched you race last year in pittsburgh you are a phenomonal rider and racer. Keep up the great videos josh
For all those commenting that he is riding fast, but not too fast, keep one thing in mind; other drivers. These are public roads and there are plenty of fools on them or even less capable drivers making normal mistakes. Never ride/drive at the limit of the machine or your skill on public roads. Always give yourself a buffer, because you can never predict when you will need it. There are some amazing roads in the world and this video shows that you don’t have to be a complete idiot to enjoy them, but always be ready for bad things to happen.
I'm a professional rider as well and that's exactly what I was looking to buy to have a fun with :) Lol this year decided not to buy another R1 2019 will wait till 2020, but need a bike interim so this is the bike I want now, lovely sound 3 cylinders from Yama (had Triumphs not that good ) and that torque, just love that.
I like BOTH... Track days AND twisty mountain roads! I ride in the East, near and ON the Dragons Tail at Deals Gap... and do track days at Road Atlanta and Barber. Of course, the Track is Wider, with no lane dividers, and you are doing the same turns lap after lap... But in the mountains, you can have literally Hundreds of different turns, with all kinds of elevation change and assorted 'surprises' such as getting tighter, or running right beside a rock cliff, or a hundred-foot drop-off 10 feet from the roadway... and generally the turns and curves are sharper and closer together than on a track... and as Josh said, the torque and lower-rpm powerband work better on the tight, twisty roads where you don't have 150+ mph straight-aways. { I ride a Yamaha FZ1 with some 'tweaking' for about 145 rwhp, on Q3+ Dunlops.} And riding the mountains doesn't coast $300 per day... just find a day with good weather, fill the tank, check the tires... and GO!
@@xxthehuskycaboosexx Wait.......😏 ..I see what you did there. However, this time let's make it an actual production run of more than a few. So everyone can have a chance to swing a leg on that legend and rip it like it's hot. 😁

Fantastic riding J; love watching you at the MotoAmerica races. Oh and kudos for showing everyone what Lane Discipline looks like ;) Blessings my Brother.
That's my bike! . 2016 speed block yellow with the same exhaust and an ECU tune. Sounds much better when you're riding it though LOL. My bike really sound like that?... Crazy. Great video, thanks for posting
¡Hola!
I rode this bike couple of weeks ago and had a blast...i do find the ergonomics very tight and having a hard time to find the right body position for cornering / kneedown
Damn I am jealous...that road makes me drool. Lol Love watching you ride man, you can see your passion for 2 wheels with every line you carve. I dig it.
Come to a MotoAmerica Race near you...and meet up with Josh! He is always bouncing around in the Pit area, and is friendly to everyone! Just 'respect' his time, and don't make a 45 minute conversation ... LOL!
Love this video! I have a RU-vid channel based here in Thailand and I ride an XSR900. Would it be possible to take a few clips for our next video? Full credit in the video and description.
You're a mad man! I can't believe how fast you can ride that Yamaha XSR900. If you like riding Mulholand, you'll love Palomar Mountain. I have some videos on my channel you can check out. Hope to see you there, and good luck at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.
I had a bike trip in 1990 in California and stayed in a campsites on Mulholland hgy, I know it’s kinda a long time ago, but I still have a souvenir from there and I’ll keep for the rest of my life, in that time, they’ve had reflectors all along the yellow lines, and I was getting so use to the roads, that it was always a bit faster and faster, to a point that my footpeg hooked on a reflector, witch did what you think, lift up the rear wheel and the bike just slide ...... with me , who were wearing a pair of short and my shoes, so I got a big patch of skins missing on my left arm and leg, what was more funny was their was one of my friend with me on his own bike, so he help me and said we’ll try to find a hospital, and I answer GO if you want , I’m going to the beaches, so we went to the beach but having kinda of a pieces of meats on my left side wasn’t ideal, so to replace the hospital I went into the sea.......... still remembered that too, even today, 😂😂😂😂😂. Damn did it stinks when I got into the waters. 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Josh, I post your canyon ride video on our bike group, someone really intrigued by the way you ride, and asked where can get some kind of instructions from to ride like you, any suggestions? James.
How long did it take to capture all those shots?! So many corners at speed! You must have had 1000 buddies staged byt he roadsie to get it all. Awesome effort!
To be fair there are a lot of people that leave shit comments on Maxwrisrt's Chanel I'm suprised hes still alive. I don't think I've read any bad ones on Josh's Chanel that speaks volumes, nice kid Great rider and I'm old enough to be his grandfather were not all moaning old duffers and we can still get a wriggle on when riding our bikes.😉😂🤙🇬🇧
