OVER 15K VIEWS! I still want to do deathless runs with Skate and the hidden characters. I ended with City Hall, because I usually end with the Robot Factory in my videos for SoR3.
Zan is my personal favorite for three reasons. He can hit opponents before they get a chance to strike, his electric arm is great for damaging masses of enemies in front of you, and he converts all weapons into the energy bullets he throws. He's not as fast as Skate (aka Eddie), doesn't have the best jump attack like Blaze, but his unique attacks make him a fun character. Also, he was extremely helpful in taking down Yamato.
Use Super Zan cheat if you want to see his TRUE power. He is the most badass character in the game. That big 6'7" old man robot has one sole mission of taking revenge on Mr. X.
I remember Zan. He was the favorite amongst us kids, for the first three times. Because he is a real overkill and kids are always munchkins. Then we get bored of this bulldozer rides and had our fun playing for Blaze and Skate. The latter two demand more skill to play.
I never got very far on SOR3, probably because the US version is harder. I didn't even finish it with my brother I think. I didn't know the stage that played Shinobi Reverse had a samurai.
On 2 Player Co-Op the game gets slightly harder to balance out the fact that there are two of you as opposed to one. You may have to sit down with the game and practice it to get the hang of things in Single Player or Multiplayer.
Since Zan is a robot, how come he can eat food like apples and turkey? Edit: And how is he affected by poison gas fumes too? Doesn't poison hurts blood?
I'm not really sure. I guess the game just avoids having to deal with that logic to keep it simple and keep stuff the same as with the other characters.
People call him a Max Lite. I disagree, his ranged tools give him more than enough of an identity to stand out, on top of having great grapples. I wouldn’t say he’s Max or Shiva tier, but his tools arguably make him the best of the 5.
It's probably just a plot hole. Either that, or the brain was meant to control the robot for the other boss fight so that there wouldn't be a repeat of the final boss battles in the first two games. I'm not really sure though.
Mr. X had a plan to replace all city officials with robots, put his brain in a jar and control them all at once. By ruining his plans you force him to hurry up and put his brain in a jar to control Robot Y to fight against you. In the bad ending he haven't replace cheif of police with a robot therefore haven't put his brain into a jar yet.
Adobe Photoshop allows users to create animations, though the program is not free. I think any free animation tool (or image creator/editor with animation features) can accomplish the same thing.
Thanks for the info! Which route is easier? Also, do you know if th game is harder or easier to beat on co-op? I get farther when doing single than when playing with my brother, but we want to beat it together! Great video, by the way!
The game gets harder on co-op due to the damage, HP, and AI level multipliers being increased (enemies are smarter, have more life, and do more damage) along with the amount of enemies that appear only in 2P mode. It also gets easier in a way because of the second player, but that depends on how good your teamwork is. As for which route is easier, maybe City Hall if I had to guess, but I'm not entirely sure about what is the easiest route.
@@hexyko4850 this is bad ending.the others is save general and kill robo y before/after timed run out. In us version, very hard difficult, it is nearly impossible to get true ending( kill robot y before time run out). Which is very easy in japanese version!
I thought when you used your special move it cost you a small bit of life. How come sometimes you dont lose that small bit? U know like blazes hadoken fire ball ish move lol?, or axel combo of punches and kicks into uppercut when you hit left+special? Jw plz explain
In Streets of Rage 3, you don't take damage from using special attacks if the Strength Gauge at the top center of the screen is at least 5/6 bars full. The Strength Gauge is the blue meter that, if full, flashes and says "OK". This was one of the new additions to the game, and it explains that I did not cheat.
No he is godlike character, he is the fastest to my eyes, Blaze and Zan are 50/50 then skate is the bottom tier, i also follow galedog's mind about roo being a huge trash. In US version his I-Frame are just complete bullshit he's pretty much always invincible performing his special moves. Axel combo loop and boss loops are pretty sick once you learn them, just taking the loop on Neo jet for exemple, on his spawn you jump knee stunlock him in a 3 punch back attack loop until he is dead (cf: galedog videos) you can also use sword special axel move to deal with ninjas also. His combo loop 3P back attack is OP against groups of enemy too when you get inside their hitboxes. A Hard axel run is around 52/55mins if played well. After that said i might not be sure of the exact possible time myself cause i decided to only run easy US and BK3 my focus behing more on BK2. I find the game too long to be enjoyable in the whole serie, the US version is pretty shit compared to the whole trilogy but it has a great gameplay, too bas it's too long, easy mode is the fastest speedrun you can close up the game in 23mins instead of an hour but that's for the speedrun people type.
So you meant that he is the fastest character to beat the game with. I haven't really done enough speedrunning this game to know for sure, but I think I can agree based on what you said and what I have seen from some of galedog's videos.
