After weeks of hard practice! I was able to complete this game the whole way through on normal difficulty without saving and loading 2 weeks ago. I can't believe I managed it!
I just beat SoR3 on Sega Genesis on normal with Axel for the first time, partly thanks to you sir. Previously beat it with Shiva, and also with Axel or Blaze on PS4/5 abusing rewind, but I wanted to do it legit with default characters on an actual Genesis. Your run was a lot of help throughout for certain strats, but a lot of it is also just building skill level and knowing how to deal with things on your own. Great starting point and training watching you play though. I'm definitely on a high right now. Thank you!
So it seems the whole game takes place in two days. Stage 1: Daylight - Sunset Stage 2-Stage 6: Night (it felt like the longest night ever) Stage 7: Morning
C'mon, it's not that bad lol. I sorta agree, but if u think about it, it matches the action. They amped everything up and the music couldn't be as smooth as it was in 2. Hence the faster enemy movement, running and roll technique. It matches the gritty feel of the game. Even the colors are slightly muted imo than in 2.
I remember always getting side tracked in the middle of a stage me and my brother beating the crap out of each other and throwing each other into the crowd of hoodlums We did end up completing it eventually "good time memories"
Hardest sega game I’ve ever played. Gave up on stage 6 because it was too damn hard. Finally watched sega walkthrough now I have the whole story. Fuck this game.
This game is so hard, me and my mate tried to complete this last night after never managing to when we were kids. We completed SOR 1 & 2 without too many issues but this one is so much harder and seems to take a lot longer than the rest!
I completed this game for the 1st time the whole way through without saving and loading 2 weeks ago on normal difficulty after weeks of hard practice! I can't believe I managed it!
I'll try and give u a tip kev keep rolling up and down to dodge the enemies attacks and also try to anticipate the second their attacks will happen and attack them just after you've dodged their attacks. Also keep jump kicking the motorbike baddies that come towards you as well to knock them off their bikes. I hope this helps.
@@shawncanning9981 thank you for the tips! I have to say I lose a lot of lives trying to jump kick the motorbike baddies 😂 - it’s definitely going to give me arthritis to keep rolling up and down haha! I’ll let you know! ❤️
No. It's because the musics/sound effects are shit and the game is way too hard in US version, while JP version is ridiculously easy. Seriously, you can beat the Very Hard level with eyes covered. But on US you can barely reach at the final stage playing on Normal!
Ramon Giovane that's a lie I beat the game on normal with no problem it was hard mode that was the problem I only got the stage 6 on hard mode but you don't need to beat the game on hard mode and there's 4 endings in the game so which game that I like better and I enjoyed more probably Streets of Rage 3 because it was more harder and more stuff to do but the music was not that good I give that to streets of rage 2
rayshawn howard the game is not that bad (except the ost, it's garbage). Actually, it's totally unbalanced. Both versions! I've finished the US version yesterday by the first time. It was after a lot of frustration and game overs! Normal level should not be like that. However, last week I've done the same, but on Very Hard, Japanese version, and it was waaay easier. Actually, I never had a Game Over on that version. It's just poor gameplay balancing.
Ramon Giovane maybe it's just you and other people cuz I I had no problem beating it on easy and normal I mean when I first played Streets of Rage 3 I was 24 and when I first played Streets of Rage 1 and 2 I was about 10 years old but the best Streets of Rage game ever made is Streets of Rage remake from bomber games it's all Streets of Rage games meaning you can choose which version do you want to play as in one with other levels characters and enemies and also you can play with a computer but too bad Sega sucks and they took it down but I'm pretty sure you can still find it somewhere because I did
Because he is either using an emulator or has done it on Very Easy mode with cheat codes activated. Here is how I know: 1. The bare knuckle/grand upper cannot be integrated with the special attack, which he is doing here. 2. The women with the whips do not get up if you have floored them and you are still near them. 3. Shiva is NEVER that easy to defeat. Do a playthrough on an original Streets of Rage 3 Sega Mega Drive cartridge, and you will see the difference. I also believe the music plays at a higher tempo here than in the original, so he must be using an emulator.
43:14 How did you make so such damage in single punch on that green TIGER? Besides, how to use different blitz attack (→ → + B) when Axel hasn't upgrade yet? I see you used different blitz attack in stage 1.
The green Tiger took that much damage because the last time he took damage, his health bar didn't appear below Axel's health bar, so the damage wasn't rendered until Axel's punch reminded the game.
You just didn't see this amount of enemy sprites on any SNES game. SEGA's arcade routes in full effect. If we can't have Final Fight we will make our own.
@@jenesisjp91 It is. SoR3 is still very good but somewhat disappointing after the masterpiece that was SoR2. Final Fight 3 just innovated a whole lot more compared to the previous games. It's honestly the best beat'em up on the SNES alongside King of Dragons and TMNT IV imo.
@@arkanjoteixeira Oh you're being serious 😶...... ff3 didn't innovate anything but ff. Sor3 is very innovated compared to the second one. And honestly the only reason people didn't care for so3 is because the music isn't as good as 1 and 2(which it still has great music for a beat em up ) But it still beats most the music in all 3 final fight games in my opinion. Also ff3 is just to damn easy even on it's most difficult difficulty, and I find the game very boring actually. If I had to like one the ff games it be the 2nd one. Sor 2 , 3, 4,1 for me .
You forgot to mention the cheat code you used. Lots of people thinking they are not good enough players when none of the vilans can even touch your character 😂
Is it just me or was SoR2 just much better than this one? I think the second one had better music, bosses, and gameplay...not knocking this game completely. I like them all and I’m stoked for SoR4
It only goes down if you do specials when the OK sign doesn't appear. If you do specials when you see the ok sign(at the top of the screen) then it doesn't drain your health.
@@jballs5434 So wait you mean to tell me us soft westerners who cant handle hard games got the hard version yet the superior eastenrs witch can handle it got the easy version?
Jared Curry this game have a good variation of stages graphically saying. But they are so long and massive. Look at 24:00. There are so many guys to beat in the same fucking place. That's so boring! So, 7 stages is acceptable because they take too long.
Jared Curry no there's really eight stages if you let the chief of police die you will go to another stage call City Hall if you save him you will go to the real ending stage meaning the good ending with the credits
