That's part of why I don't like facecam, I like leaving it to the imagination; that and I find it distracting. I really hope it's not going to become a permanent fixture, or else I'm going to have trouble enjoying NL's new content. :\
@@madman3230 I couldn't agree more. I love falling asleep to his Isaac or gungeon series. But something about watching this video cam was a little off. Still love the egg though
Eggfella doesn't realize the Slaves blow up when the Slavemaster gets too far away from his Slaves It's OK, I didn't either. I'm ready to see Egg learn all of these new mechanics. Great first episode!
Hey NL I've been playing this game ever since I saw it years ago on yours and on Sleepcycles' channels. It makes me really happy to see you having fun with it.
I've been interested in this game since y'all played it way back on the NLSS, but never actually bought it. I'm excited to see how it looks now at release.
It's so much better being able to see him when he says some incredibly stupid stuff... and his facial expression doesn't change at all because he doesn't realize it
NOFORPAIN - No Pants Gang I'm with ya dude. I know something is up when watching Isaac is peaking my interest. I don't mean for that to sound toxic because I've loved and watched most of his Isaac episodes. It's more saying that the same series I've watched forever is better than the new stuff.
Playing this with friends via hotseat is hilariously fun. My and 3 buddies did a zombie run and while zombie feels weak shit solo we consistently turned every level into day of the dead
@@jbreitz87 tbh zombie is actually one of the strongest character since you just have to split some gangsters and run. They will get killed eventually and spread.
Hi NL, I'm starting this series and I also just got the game as well on sale. I heard about this game years ago but never got the chance to check it out. Turns out this is exactly the sort of game I was looking for. Can't wait to watch through the series!! My favorite part was at 31:00 when the other guy runs in the room like "What the..." lmao
This game has such an interesting world. I love just walking around and thinking of the possibilities... "Ok where do I find a weapon...? Mmmmm... Ya' that store looks like it's manned by weenies, I could take'em once I find a weapon. Mmmmm, this quest is offering grenades. Not really my bag and kinda unwieldy but, should be enough to take on these guys and get their goodies. Then maybe I can find a black market and-" Y'see what I mean? This game is lovely.
Mikhail McMorrow You can slipcuff people with those banana peels as a cop. Or less obviously, as a slavemaster. In a more general sense, you’re like an antag with set objectives every level. Complete them however you want, ain’t no admins gonna bwoink you here.
Yellow Names mean that they own/work for the place they live in, and all the yellow names of a single building are on a team, so you can tell if some one in a store will be mad at you for knocking out the shop keeper
@@twoimage Alright, not that I'm doing any better, but NL has been bringing at least some joy to my life since early 2012 and I feel like I need to show my appreciation somehow, like you do. Will you finish the 69 days? I'll start at day 70. Also I want to say that I appreciate what you're doing, it's a nice idea. I hope things get better for you soon, just based on what you're doing here you must be a nice person. (Sorry if the whole thing sounds weird, I can't really express well in english)
Man, if there's a game you can bang out 3,000 episodes of, it's Streets of Rogue! Super glad to see you playing this one! I think it's one of the best Early Access games there is, and 1.0 has been fantastic so far.
I like watching this game, and my hope for the series is that NL takes his time and explores his options instead of just resorting to smash-and-grab all the time
NL will tranquilize someone, beat them up with his bare hands and then steal all their money but he will NOT read their emails for that would be a breach of their trust. What a honorable egg
Nice, I've been playing this for a while now, great game, multiplayer work fine too. There's actually 5 stages with 3 floors in each and a single floor final stage. Also, Ryab, there's a lot to learn about the game, so prepare to fail a bunch in the beginning.
Thank you Ryan. As soon as this got released on PS4 I got it because I remembered you and Kate playing it. That's why I recommend it. I spent most of last weekend unlocking the characters. It is such a fun game. Perfect for you.
Gosh dang it. This one has face cam too? Aside from that, I'm only 3 minutes into the video and this game seems extremely interesting. I never realized before now that I wanted to play a Deus Ex roguelike but here I am.
When it comes to the Doc, totally recommend you knock everyone out for the couple coins and only use the Tranq in seriously situational situations. Also, if you gotta enter a locked apartment or something you can just knock on the door and spam the chloroform button so you can knock them out the second they try to close the door behind them.
-Brief pause after "Everybody welcome" -Stares directly into the camera -That gesture with his hand perpendicular to the viewer Wait a minute was that a sneaky Dan intro?
no streets of rogue playlist? what's with youtubers and not having ongoing series playlist DX hopefully the algorithm won't send me to a random video next!
YES! HE HAS DONE IT! THANK YOU EGG! (Pro tip: if you obtain a weapon or item that you already have then the ammo or durability will be added to your existing item)
I got this game for a mere 4 bucks cuz I remembered NL playing it but the dimensions on my TV are all fucked, playing on PS4. Trying to get it fixed because I remember it being a quite neat game.
Heal items pro tips: - Buy every beer you come across, it's the best bang for buck on healing. Don't buy anything else for healing. - Heal using everything else so it doesn't waste too much inventory space - But save the Fuds so you can barbecue them with a lighter in Act 3 and turn them into +15 HP
Every floor (that I know of) spawns all of these interactables (atm, clone machine, goodie dispenser, loadout-o-matic, a selling machine and ammo dispenser) you can always try to refill your tranq gun at the ammo dispenser or loadout-o-matic to keep yourself safe.
19:30 Oh it hurts so bad. It's like early days StS all over again. You can't own more then one of the same type of gun! You just payed 125 for four shots! Kill me now.
Constructive feedback: You need to do your big mission, NL, it's on the upper right of your map screen. You have to do it every floor or you break the quest.
I loved gungeon to death , thought this was meh when played on the NLSS , but i guess i'll give it a try for a few episodes, thanks regardless for the quality content Ryab
This game is dope. Funny, I actually came up with a game idea very similar to this but on a much larger, more ambitious scale. It's only an idea in my head though, can't code for shit.
