Wow. You really can see a difference between inside the fence and outside the fence. Lol! Love the "That's what she said " reference. Thanks for dropping another video Shane. The lawn repair areas look a lot better! Never thought about that with the dog having a problem, causing the burn spots.
Thank for this Video Man! Question. I am in SC with a Centerpide Grass. Do you recommend this product to be applied in our area? If yes, when will be a good time
Appreciate the video Shane. I’m a zoysia guy too and love it. I haven’t done anything with the backyard yet (1 year old home) because I’m adding in a few things like additional garage/workshop, hardscape, etc. When I do next spring (2022), I’m thinking Bermuda will do better in the shaded areas back there. Your thoughts?
Well, I’m thinking then I’ll go with a mixture. Sod and seed with Bermuda and plug some Zoysia from my front and side lawns, all in late spring. I’ll probably prep the areas I know I won’t impact with projects and seed some annual rye grass to cover for the winter. Just discovered your channel. Thanks for the laughs and advice in your videos.
What a difference Shane ! Looks amazing. I used StressBlend in June and loved it !!I’ve been sticking with heavy K through the summer and my backyard has shown a huge difference. Fighting fungus in the front right now. Can’t wait to see your other interests…I’m in
Stress blend is definitely working well there, just put mine down yesterday for the first time. Wouldn’t mind seeing a liquid fertilizer showcasing the difference like you did. If I had to guess I would say something food related. Maybe smoking a pork butt or something.
Last summer my dog urine destroyed my lawn. We changed his dog food to pro plan. All the sudden his urine stopped burning the lawn as bad. It didnt totally fix it, but it made a huge difference.
I just read down and saw the briski comment . I think most of us grass guys love to smoke! I'm gonna start adding some smoking to my Instagram. Check me out @crazyboutgrass on Instagram Shane! Great content. Looking forward to the next!
@@ShaneHeath I work at a co-op. We blend and sell fertilizer, for farmers. But potash should be available any where I would think. I know we sell it I believe for less than 20 bucks a bag.
I'm really confused about your statement about Stress Blend being special because it made one side greener and not the other side of the fence but you kept everything the same. Are you suggesting that the day you put out stress blend you also applied some sort of equivalent fertilizer or at least some Urea to the other side of the fence? If you got a boost of green growth from applying stress blend its the kick of urea nitrogen, nothing particular about having potassium that would necessarily cause the turf to "green up". Maybe next time you're trying to make a claim about how well something works vs not doing anything to a control plot apply an equivalent product of a different brand so you can show the claimed difference and benefits vs brand X. It comes off as a type of false advertising to the unsuspecting public who doesn't know better that any nitrogen is going to green up grass vs grass that didn't get fed.
Outside the fence got 7-0-0 inside got 7-0-20, so the same amount of nitrogen was applied. And also urea wouldn't be causing a difference in color 1 month after being applied. Urea would have been used up or evaporated by now
@@ShaneHeath ok you have to explain this to me then. First off you applied 7-0-0 microgreene on the same day you applied stress blend and used the exact same rate based on #N per 1000 sqft. After that happened you applied nothing else to either side and mowed and irrigated the same? All things being equal you’re saying the addition of MOP made your grass greener than the other side ?
