I will be getting one of these as my competition gun as I don't like AR's very much. Will aftermarket triggers meant for the 9mm version work with this gun?

Unfortunately, in 22 version AR trigger will not work because 22 bolt is smaller ( rear bottom edge is further away from hammer pin ) so will not reset hammer. But trigger can be tuned to 3lb with short reset.

On the original ones it was M12x1 and on the newer ones it is ½x28UNEF.

Why should the price go up due to Brexit?

It's mainly to do with freight, what used to be able to be sent by land now has to go by air or sea and is more expensive.

Additional processing fees due to more paperwork required. Import from EU is subject new licenses which wasn’t required previously. Generally all shipments increased 2-3 times since last year for various reasons ( fuel, Germany charge extra fee for transport firearms through their aerospace ).

Lol, you can own one if you have an FAC or SGC, vaccines are not currently recognised as "good reason" though. The shooting community very welcoming so vaccinated or not no one will hold it against you!
