It's the quarter finals of Strictly Come Dancing and the pressure is mounting. Meanwhile, professional dancers Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace show off their world-beating skills at the Argentine Tango, dancing to the traditional tune "Quejas De Bandoneon".

So beautiful. There are amazing together. Saw their show 'Dance til Dawn' and loved it. For anyone asking, they were Argentine SHOW Champions, which I'm suspecting is the difference between the very choreographed routines they perform and the 'pure' form of Argentine that some people below are referring to.

I've trained in ballroom, and had separate tango/argentine tango lessons for about 7 and a half years. i now hold free weekly 1 hour tango classes at my family's own dance studio. I dont compete with tango, just with ballroom/latin.

Being at Flavia&Vincent show on 29thdec14 at Aldwych Theatre we feel happy and have very good time with the show. Professional actors/actress who have burn the stage at every wave of their performances. Bless them all with good health to create the more exiting choreography for admirers. Such graceful:)))

Lived in the UK and watched these two and admire their dancing. Now back in Canada and watched the American version of Strictly and yesterday watched the Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger & the professional Derek Hough do their version of the Argentine Tango. Must see it if you love this style of dance.

and you would know how much about the Argentine Tango?? Vincent and Flavia are world champions at the argentine tango, they have won the world championships for this dance twice. If anyone knows what an Argentine Tango looks like, its Vincent and Flavia.

In fact I don't know him. I am taking lessons in Edinburgh with Ricardo Oria (he was on the BBC tango indent a few years back and you can find a few videos of him dancing with Jenny Frances on RU-vid as well). Anyway, this was a very interesting chat. Good luck with your lessons!

In the ballroom approach to Argentine tango (not Ballroom tango!) the focus is on the steps, in Argentine tango the focus is on the connection and the walk is very different. They might look similar in the sequences but the basic technique is very different: Argentine tango is a social dance.Search on RU-vid for Javier Rodriguez and Geraldine Rojas. If you are as experienced as you claim to be, you'll see the difference for yourself. Enjoy! ps: My teacher is Argentinian. Who did you learn with?

I have been dancing Argentine Tango for more than 4 years now and I regularly DJ at tango events. I recently checked the list of past world champions of the Campeonato Mundial de tango in Buenos Aires and their names are not there. Surf the internet and see for yourself. I am not saying that they are not good at what they are doing or that they are not champions of whatever they are dancing, just that this is a different type of tango, not Argentine tango. ps: what do YOU know about tango?

@pisacika77 Thank you so much for saying this!!!! I couldn't agree with you more!!!! This is similar to tango argentino but it's not the same, and I absolutely agree with you about Javier and Geraldine. IMHO they were one of the best argentine tango dancers in the world, and although I really like and respect Vincent and Flavia I wouldn't call this performance tango argentino. For youtube users who want to see true argentine tango dancers look up Javier and Geraldine

it is good on a professional level. i guess thats what the judges are looking for profession and perfection. to me its so choreographd that im not amazed by it. that car advert is amazing. was it a volvo??? lol forgot. P.S: if someone hates on this get a freggin life im allowed to say wat i want where i want and when i want.

This is NOT Argentinian Tango, and these guys wouldn't even classify to the World Tango Championship, it's a joke that they call themselves Tango Champions...

Try to find their names here: festivales.buenosaires.gob.ar/2014/tangofestivalymundial/en/ediciones Try to look for anything Tango related in Argentina with their names...

It's English ballroom tango . Latin dancing here is nothing like it is in south America . You should see what they call samba !!! Unfortunately they're taught to be very stiff!!

World Champhons? The only real and acknowledged World Tango championship is Held every year in Argentina. These guys NEVER won there, in ANY of the categories. Why do they declare themselves "world Champions"? They are not dancing tango at all
