String Trimmer Head FULL SERVICE 

I enjoy your videos and seeing how lawn care is done across the pond. I prefer to run my trimmers without the guard because it gets caught up in vegetation. Thanks for reminding me to gease my heads. Mike from Alabama

You didn't lube that circular plate or big washer between the trimmer head and the big plastic head that holds the line?

Red and tacky works great also If no connection drill, tap and grease zert, use red and tacky

which kind of grease did you put it in the stihl lub or a particular one thanks

I keep a scraper like that on my workbench just for that, not just with my string trimmers, but also my edger and bed redefiner, I have the same head on my trimmer attachment, the original head got worn all the way through to a point debris would build up inside it and the bump feed wouldn't work, replaced it with this head, reloading is easier

WD 40 on rubber and plastics?? I think not,,, I would use silicon lube and a little at that,

Not my ideal of servicing the head. Open it up get into the gears clean it up then regrease.
