Another beautiful video with some amazing fish!! I’m stuck at home right now because I got into a bad patch of poison ivy all over my arms and on my face a little causing my left eyelid to swell up but I’m decent. Wishing I was out but health comes first, your video definently gives me good spirits and that’s what I need right now, really appreciate it man!

Like the videos brotha 🤙 especially seeing some footage on the tsunami airwave. How did you like it?…….I just purchased a 10ft Heavy tsunami airwave. I do a lot of shoreline plugging with 3oz jigs and top waters for Giant Travelly. The pole is rated 3-6oz. Have you casted with a 3oz lures? Just curious if it can handle the 3oz lures or would I have to go smaller?

How do you like your new Airwave? My main setup for stripers is a 9'6" Airwave Elite paired with a Penn Slammer III 6500. I absolutely love it.

Tim Meyer awesome! I’ve taken it out twice now, and I’ve got to say, it has great action. Casts far and works topwater and bucktails well. As of right now, I recommend It highly. The one I’m using is the 10ft MH, and it’s matched to the penn spinfisher VI 5500 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Just a head up the airwaves are very easy to break if you over load them on a cast. But that just what I have seen with the and who were you fishing with? I know that kid. Awesome videos keep up the great work

What rod isn’t easy to break? Ive had the mojo surf for about a couple years. Ive been preparing myself for the day it breaks though

@@nickt423 Hey what’s up Nick no promises on what rode is going to snap or not but I use the tsunami trophy two and I haven’t had any problems with it a really good rod but you just Gotta be careful it’s the way that you use your rod like your mojo should last you forever as long as you follow the ratings like if it says 2 ounces or 3 ounces don’t throw any thing more than three. Also don’t boat life any fish with it unless you need to. I tie on a 5-6ft leader and I hall the fish up with that.

@@airbornefishing4871 Thanks Airborne! That’s good to know. Ill have to check out the Trophy next time I’m in the market for a new rod. My Mojo rod is rated 3/4-4. I stay safe with it and don’t more than 3. If i had to theorize why rods break so frequently it would be: 1) Not using the rod properly (overloading, high sticking) 2) It had a defect out of the factory, you just couldn’t see it 3) You’re not treating your rod properly. You throw it in your vehicle with little regard. Then when you get home you leave it in the freezing cold garage where you or other people can bump into it

Tighten up on that drag. Those fish shouldn't be pulling any drag at all. Large stripers have very hard mouths. If your drag is set too loose you'll never get the hookset to keep them buttoned to the plug.
