We paint them in Colorado, they start at like 450k

Not really you just need some perspective. It's a 3.7 million dollar airplane and is well over a million dollars a year to operate. So budgeting $450K for a paint job, especially as part of buying the thing isn't really that big of deal. Further eventually a jet needs to be repainted anyway. The paint has to be smooth and intact for aerodynamics and to prevent corrosion.
