In this episode of STRIPPING ARCHITECTURE we are exploring pro social trends of housing & residential architecture. We can see how in the general public opinion these new trends are not fairly represented as value and quality. Consequently people tempt to defending the traditional housing configuration only. We don't think that traditional principals of housing layouts and urban planning constrains are bad perse, but we think that they are dominant due to populist reasons of the decision makers and gate keepers of the urban design. This is often the scenario when we talk about housing in big residential blocks. The general stigma is that, social housing architecture or living complexes are only for the social cases and that as such that kind of housing is not quality because it has to satisfy one standard only - shelter. In this video we want to brake that stigma and proof that social housing architecture can be diverse, sustainable, socio-economically feasible, social, fancy, cool and trendy. You don't believe us, well this video is for you.
