if this can help he says 'je l'aime à mort', French idiom which literally translates to 'I love her to death' but it sounds exactly like 'I have/found my death' (je l'ai ma mort) the play on word relies on the fact that he's in an intense but destructive relationship that would eventually lead to his death

I would to say that effectively Srtomae plays with the sound of "je l'aime à mort" ("love her to death") and je l'ai ma mort("I have my death") but the title wich is in spanish does me think that there is a third sound and it is "amor" in spanish so "je l'aime, amor" ("i love her, love") and it's a very good writing.

My absolute favorite song of Strome. He is a musical genius. Ive listened to Racinne carré so many time. i know full show word by word. I swear im not making it up. The week before my father got diagnosed with lungcancer, we didnt know it yet, it was the week before. He loved the song cancer, while he is having it. Sorry for long answer, but Stromae will mever leave my heart. Cancer used to be my favorite, but now i feel like Te Quiero.

en france aussi, "je l'aime à mort" laisse entendre les deux côtés, l'amour fou et l'amour qui mènera à sa propre perte. homonyme avec "je l'ai ma mort", donc ça renforce bien les deux images.
