One day I wanna make some videos that break down some episodes to highlight all the subtle things like that. I think lots of stuff gets forgotten in favour of the memorable quotes, but some of that stuff is what makes this animation that much better than a lot of others

God I love this one. The only thing funnier than "We got an anonymous tip from Strong Sad" is Strong Sad popping up and saying "I told them you were behind the fence."
This is more acted out than usual, even for a homestar cartoon. Even back when, I expected someone to yell "CUT" at the end, like they were making a movie similarly to Dangeresque.
I never noticed the Cheat was wearing a sweatshirt that said "henchman" Food. Water. Eww. I BROUGHT YOU A CAKE! *Cake has a jackhammer* So BDH Man is Elway?
If you're talking about the beginning, then attempted breaking and entering, trespassing, and disturbance of the peace are all crimes. Maybe more misdemeanors than felonies, but he'd still probably get a few days at least in jail, plus fines. We don't know how long he was initially under the cardboard box.
Gotta' say, if there's a better Homestar/SBemail cartoon that is better than this to introduce someone to the Homestarrunner universe, I would like to hear it. I first thought SbEmail "Couch Patch", but someone suggested SbEmail "Hiding", but now I'm sold on this one. Thoughts anyone? (Tall order, I know! Like asking "What's your favorite pizza' to a Pizza offianado, but still open to suggestions)
Honestly one of the funniest H*R videos. some of the classic funny bits include (a top ten?) : 1) "The Cheat, I told you to remove the Fthoom! All we needed was the bang!" 2) *Homestar's hilarious car alarm, I mean, his "police siren" sounds* 3) "Couch Z, get these lowlifes outta my sight" 4) "You set me up! You set me up! The Cheat, t-tell him that he set you up" 5) "I BROUGHT YOU A CAKE!" 6) "What are you gonna do to protect me?" "Umm....I could put a dash between Homestar and Runner from now on?" "Really? You'd do that for me?" *laughs* "No, of course not" 7) "Now we can retire to da Mooooon!" 8) Matt and Mikes' "DUN DUN DUNNNNN...." 9) Strong Bad's 'disguise' ski mask 10) "Mmm..Bak-a-lava?"
Imo if its gonna be a top 10 it has to include the bit at the end when he's making fun of SS doing tai chi. "You wewe all like: 'gopuleh... haaa... BWING!" And yeah definitely the siren sounds and his exchange with marzipan 😂
So, by the end, they had stolen the King of Town's crown, Marzipan's "Thank You" sign, Strong Sad's iPod, Cardgage's grocery bag, Pom Pom's Pom Pilot, a cookie jar, two bags of some savings, and Frank Bennedetto's corpse. ... Those two are going away for a loooooong time.
