Bug in Mouth Disease 

Homestar screaming "The good times are over!" used to be my text tone. Loved having to explain it to literally everyone who heard it.

In high school, circa 2009, mybest friend and I had to do a "skit" entirely in Spanish for our language class. This 'toon was our performance

"Strong Bad, the good times are over! I swallowed your computer!" *"YOU **_WHAT?!!!"_* "Oh I mean a small bug. I swallowed a small bug." Still one of my favorite jokes in these cartoons.

A classic! My brothers and I to this day still refer to any nap as a "skillet nap."

This was my favorite H*R cartoon back in the day. It helped shape my humor so much! I still use “i am now!”, “and that’s why come”, “hey look, a little guy!”, “oooh boolean operators!”, and “do you need medical resistance” in my lexicon. So great.

Truly a classic. Most shows can’t pack this many jokes into 22 minutes, let alone five.

This was such a classic as a kid. And a contributing factor to my destroyed vocabulary. “And that’s why come Shakespeare was so awesome.”

I always find Homestar’s little happy face when Tucksworth asks if he shot Caleb to be utterly adorable

"Hey lookit that, a little guy!" I think about that line every day

Glad they're uploading these older cartoons. "Aww, now my head isn't taped to the TV.", one of my favorite lines.

Ahhh, this was one of my favourites. I don't know why. It was like the perfect balance between insane and hum-drum slice of life.

Peeps be saying these are classics, meanwhile this is my first time watching. Man. I missed out on so much. So much. ... The good times are back!

17 years later and I've lost count of the number of times the good times have been over.

I love this episode. It's such a perfect combination of all my favourite characters interacting over completely inane and silly stuff 😄

I love how there's no context for anything. What mistake did Strong Sad make that lead to him being called Dairy Queen? Why is the King of Town gossiping to Pom Pom about the Poopsmith? Why is Bubs burning evidence? What the heck is the plot of the show Strong Bad is watching? Why does Strong Sad need underwear?

"No - that stuff's prescription!" Yeah, I'm definitely going to use that to keep people away from _my_ ice cream in the future, lol.

3:38 The way Strong Bad doesn't even flinch or hesitate is comic gold. 🤣🤣

“I swallowed your computer!” gets me every time

When this first came out, I missed the entire ending because I was laughing too hard at "What a great skillet-nap!"

"Boolean operators! Blue AND ones" is a quote that has lived rent free in my head for decades

“Can’t you see grandma is watching her stories!?” I’ve used that, and I forgot where it came from!

"pom-pom! santa!" kills me every time

One of my all-time favorites. "The good times are definitely over" becomes more and more relevant every passing day. At least with this cartoon in mind, I can laugh about it.

Came down with an almost catastrophically good-times-overing case of Bug In Mouth on a hike recently, so this is excellent timing.

Round-mouthed Strong Bad never fails to make me smile.

"sir or madam, are you alright? Do you need medicine resistance?" I quote this one everyday.

“Do you need medical Resistance?” Keeps hitting harder as I grow older and do things like pay insurance.

This cartoon has one of my favorite Bubs scenes of all time. Just... everything he does.

It’s subtle, but “Normal Investigator” might be one of my favorite gags on the show

"Caleb, are you reuploading all your classic cartoons?!" "I sure am!"

An absolute classic. There are so many terrific lines that I still quote to this day.

I like that instead of Strong Bad missing the reveal, it became worse than he imagined. I also like he took it at face value at first too.

This was one of the first toons I saw when my cousin introduced me to this website in the summer of 2007, needless to say I was instantly hooked on Homestar & Strong Bad & crew right away, & here I am over 15 years later still enjoying their antics.

This toon is the reason I still say "why come" to this day

This is still one of favorite Homestar cartoons.

For the last decade, whenever I'm watching something important I say "Grandma's watching her stories" and now I remember where it came from.

My mom and I still quote "Can't you see grandma's watching her stories?!"

Man, all the music in this series kicked ass, from the regular background music and title card music to the full lyrical songs. I was so happy when they released it all on Spotify.

God these are still so good. I honestly took for granted just how amazing Homestar Runner was when I was a kid. I hope even in the future kids still watch these and enjoy them because they really do feel kind of timeless

"Grandma's watching her stories" is a phrase I still use, joining many other Homestar references that are in my lexicon that I don't remember where they came from until I rewatch them.

This was one of the first HR toons I ever saw, and it has a special place in my heart for that reason. In addition, I would also freak out if I swallowed a bug. If it happened as a child, I WOULD probably think I was gonna die. Also, "I just thought you should know that all your underwears somehow ended up individually priced and labeled in an online auction." "NOBODY BUY THE BLUE ONES!" is one of my favorite exchanges.

This was my most quoted skit growing up. So many good lines!

I was just thinking about Boolean search operators a few days ago, and that led me to remember that little exchange between Strong Bad and Strong Sad. I couldn't remember what 'toon that came from, but here it is! So that was serendipitous.

I watched this dozens upon dozens of times as a kid. It cracked me up then, makes me laugh now.
