I do play this class different than most, but I've found that replacing 2 pet skills with damage shields is totally worth it. I pair Regeneration Aura with Conjured Ward and Annulment to get a huge buffer that lets me swap back to my nukes and pew pew back to full health. It is a little less damage than some sorcs, but the sustain I get from it allows me to put on an overwhelming amount of pressure. I also run Mages Wrath now, the extra damage below 20% health really helps to secure kills. 👍
you are missing a lot of dps if you dont run pets. You should not need any other healing skills that critical surge, if critical surge is not enough, you need to get your critical chance higher, the problem is not the skills its most likely your stats. mages wrath can be used situationally as finisher. I seriously hope you are not running any veteran content and slowing down your team with unoptimized build like that.
Great Video Lucky, Sorceror was my first class even when I didn't know anything about the game and I picked it literally because I thought I could make it into a spellsword my favorite class from skyrim. While it's not my main anymore and my frost warden healer has taken that spot in my heart it will always be the class I started with in my first mmo. Again great build and sorry I rambled a bit but your builds have made a profound impact on me. The only thing I wish is that the ring of the pale order wasn't a part of every solo build which stings because I don't have it. Thanks again.
Bro it’s not hard just takes time to raise your skill level high enough to get it. Well worth it thou. While ur lvling Excavation up- run the dungeons and WB needed to get ur lead. Alcast has a good guide as well
I only have 3 toons because I'm so tired of having a ton of alts to log into and I've been perfectly happy with that. Then in the first minute of this video you've convinced me on why I need a sorcerer.

Love your videos, your solo builds helped me understand how to play the game, now that I don’t suck as bad I feel confident using skills I find cool ( even if they’re not as good ) I made a pet less sorcerer vamp using there health recovery to sustain frenzy also using the many resource reducing passives to lower its costs. Using the vamp ultimate for sustain as well. Not as good as your builds but I’m having fun.
Omg tysm dude! I am ch480 and new to game been playing since November 2021. I tried many 100k builds nothing worked for me I kept hitting max 20k-30k on critical not constant. With your build and easy dynamic rotation I hit first time 80k critical and 29k constant.
I use ur food- potion- skills- passives but I use bahsei-kinras-maelstrom-slimecraw-kilt all gold.. thx for explaining the rotation in a clear way I love u dude this made playing my main magicka sorc so much more fun
loved your magplar build finally got what the builds were said to get. I tried the other builds of yours for the other classes and cant seem to get any better dps. although this rotation is at least easier than the other builds i have tried
Hi Ghost I noticed in your Written guide you have a 1 pet set-up also. I was wondering if the 1 pet set up has more Damage then the 2 let set-up? If not or if they are similar what would be the difference between the Two set ups? Thank you.
@luckyghost I have collected almost the entire BSW set and Pillar of Nirn except the dreadful inferno staff, neck and BSW pants which seems it has a ridiculously low drop rate lol. Lucky is there an alternative to the inferno staff ? I want to run this setup for arena's as optimal as possible but I spent all week farming for it with no drops :(
With the new smart loot system you’re guaranteed to get it if you keep grinding: in your sticker book you can see what pieces you have, count the weapons from all 3 sets for that dungeon you are missing and at max that is the number of times you’ll have to run it to get it. You can speed up the process by running with a friend to help fill your book faster. Hope this helps.

Great video Lucky, one question on the written guide, it has SORCERER 2 PET SETUP and SORCERER 1 PET SETUP, is this 2 different builds for different occassions? If so, when do you use one and not the other?

Im glad you keep updating this guide, i started leveling a character on your previous video about this and im almost cp 160 already, now i have this video for updated stuff. Just one question, what would you wear instead of the nirn set since i dont have dlc or eso+?
as usual great explanation minutely though to the point. your great video ( Step by Step Leveling Guide - Level 1 to 300+ ) get me back to play this game back after i tray it for a weeks then quit it for 4 months because it was overwhelming to me. can you please explain to a new player when we should start working in our gears (weapons and armors )? thank you
Another exclnt vid. I run same skills excpt I/Light instead if orb. damage is insane, C/frag also heals you via dark magic passive. My build gives me @2700 health per sec. With crit surg I get @6000 health per sec. Almost unkillable. Frag spamming is its own meta. I run what i call the crit build, medusa/sorrow/slime. Kilt in group, Pale order solo. It nukes everything. Kepp the great content coming. Always enjoy your vids. Cheers.
i have no sustain on this build with 42k magicka and 1400 im out of magicka all the time specially at last boss,and yes i use spell power pots with all the pasives related.

Hello… awesome video… question… can I move boundless storm to the back bar so I can cast when I do surge or is there a reason why it has to be on first bar… I would move mystic orb to front as I have to reapply a lot sooner than boundless and surge… thank you in advance
Just for the new people here. You definitely will not be allowed in any veteran trial with the gear he is giving you. You must be wearing trial gear with maelstrom weapon and a mythic item. Also DO NOT USE Ring of The Pale Order if you are doing any group content. You will be kicked immediately! Healers will end up wasting heals on you because you can’t receive healing from others with that ring on. This will make the whole group mad. Only use it for solo.
@@LuckyGhost I was trying to find where Pillar of Nirn was prockin bcuz I never seen it and how it looks in the video ..not saying it wasn't jus couldn't catch it
@lucky ghost great video not a max level yet but close. Noticed my dps is pretty crappy, running dungeons trying to learn the rotation but keeping boundless storms and critical surge up has been a pain in the butt. Still dont have mystic orb unlocked yet so my Aoe isnt that great either. Please tell me it gets better with gear.
yeah without gear you're kinda just a walking pile of trash in eso, no offense. this isn't a you problem, its just how the game is. get the gear, then see how it feels! good luck
Trying to build toward this, finally was able to get the two monster set for iceheart, however doing veteran dungeon feels the final boss is unkillable. Is this build viable with only magnus, julianos and iceheart or do I need to go for the final gear also ? Either way I do not have the dlc for malestrom arena, only have base game and all chapters up to blackwood, what would be your recommendation to finish the build then ?
Would you not make more damage if u put barbed trap instead of boundless storm and put it on the back bar and remove the mystic orb for the extra 10% crit damage and the extra magic power?
That's why you have Boundless Storm and Critical Surge, in addition to Ring of Pale order. I mean, you can only have so many defensive/healing abilities & items equipped before you start sacrificing dps. But I would say if you're still having a hard time surviving, just replace Boundless Storm with HW, see if you do better with that. But then, again, you're going to sacrifice damage, especially in regards to it proccing Crystal frags. Also, keep in mind, if you're wearing the Ring of the Pale Order, keeping Boundless Storm up will give you constant healing, as long as you're in close proximity to enemies.
@luckyghost wow just had the BSW inferno staff drop and still no drop for the legs though smh. Question can bsw inferno be used in place of pillar of nirn inferno ?

Hey Lucky. I have been using ur build, and it’s Good! I want to make it my own- With Sorc and pets working well together, I was thinking. Before I gather Al the gear I wanted to ask if you looked at the gear combo of Necropotance and a new set Reveler which gives max mag and a 15% increase to Pet damage What go ya think?

In your written guide you give false god a mention. Will I replace Burning Spell weave with False God or Pillar of Nirn. (EDIT: Can anyone reading this perhaps help.)
@Lucky Ghost you said in video that i should have 5 pillar of nirn + 5 burining spellweave when solo but in writen guide you wear only 4 pillar of nirn can you explain?

just got back into the game after a while and heard the achievments are going account wide so i made a sorc to change things up, has anything changed since this vid and what would you consider a good or better set rather than nirn.
I'm a little bit confused, so when I am doing group content and I swap from ring of the pale order, what do I replace it with? You said use iceheart set, but do I swap out my burning spellweave for iceheart? or do I just replace the ring for a different ring. Seems a bit mad to swap an entire set just based off swapping out the ring. Like I said I am a bit confused, I'm not an eso maniac and I don't know the ins and out but I need a bit of information so I can understand. As of now I am running the build in group content as well although I know I need to swap out the pale for group content, I just need to know exactly what I should swap to when I am not solo
you you have two sets. one on body. one on jewls / weapons. and then monster on head/shoulder. when you wear ROPO, you move one pice off of the ring and on to the shoulder to make room for ROPO. so your fifth piece of weapon/jewel set is on your shoulder . when you take ring off, move that piece back from your shoulder to your ring, and put second monster set piece on shoulder
@@LuckyGhost Sorry i am still struggling to understand, not entirely sure what you are saying. I am not sure if I messed up the build, so this is what I am using, I have the pillar of nirn helm and have the slime on my shoulders as I couldn't get the medium slime helm so I decided to use the slime shoulders instead. Helm: Pillar Shoulder: Slime Chest: Burning Belt: Burning Shoes: Burning Hands: Burning Pants: Burning Neck: Pillar Ring: Pillar Ring: ROPO Weapon 1: Pillar Weapon 2: Maelstorm So if I take the ROPO off, what do I swap the ring to? Another pillar ring? This is what I am confused with, i do apologise ESO is not my main game but I am trying to understand it
@@willzobob2180 ya so when you take ring off you love the pillar on your head to your ring finger. Then wear any monster set you want like slime or even better stormfist 2 piece
Hyy lucky can you show what trait you were using when you show armor please cuz those traits play a huge gap between those sets i mean we can get the perfected mael and still be a weaky one in the group right? it would be sooo helpful to get the items ready to play you got the point what i'm trying to say right? those traits on separate video helps but while watching the specific build vids i prefer to go with that one rather than going on to separate vid and i might not the only one on that but yea it helps alot while checking the builds from my fav eso player #luckyghost
