Best streaming cloudburst video I have seen so far, one of the reasons because you are the first and only one I've seen to explain how to use the mini switch, not to include the fact that you also have shown me exactly how to hold the switch down while plugging it up to get other attributes. Thank you man you're the best
Excellent! Very well done! Best demo yet. Absolutely concise and practical. Evidence you don’t have to shred to present a great video. Thank you for making this.
I had read the instruction many many times, until I watched this I could not understand how to use the freeze at all . Thank you so much I was about to return the pedal.
I stumbled across your channel with this video, as I was scoping out cloudburst demos. Thanks for this. I really don’t know much about pedals but you gave me some good insights on stuff I would even think of! I’m subscribing too dude from one ordinary guitarist to another! A nice find on a beautiful sunny Saturday in the foothills of NC! I hope your channel builds up.
Great demo mate, I literally just got this pedal out of the box and the clear explanation of connection options was really useful (and refreshing). As a middle aged ordinary guitarist myself I think this concept is great. Good luck and one new sub here 🤟🏽
Cheers. I’ve been enjoying my Cloudburst - but I don’t have a mini switch. Nice to see you explain how that works and sounds. Your demo has convinced me that we be a really useful addition. Appreciate it.
Good job pointing out the TS/TRS - mono/stereo cable routing options. Not many folks take the time to explain and point those out. Quite helpful for new folks getting into the gear game.
Loved the review and great first video. Just got this last night and looking forward to using the mini switch when it arrives. Great explanations of all the options available there with the extra switch
Very clear, useful demo...thank you.. :-) My Cloudburst came a few days ago....and this is the best pedal I've ever bought... it seems so perfectly suited to the kind of ambient acoustic guitar I play. There's something almost AI like in the way the sound seems to shape itself around what you're trying to create. At the moment only tried it through my Yamaha Steel Silent and a Laney Audiohub 150.... you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great sound at home !! .
Pleasant surprise David, I've been following your other channel for years. Great to have a familiar approach to new territory! Good luck with the channel.
Very nice debut video. Thanks for explaining the connections. I will have to buy some TRS to L/R TS patch cables if I get a Cloudburst.. All of my other stereo pedals are straight L/R TS connections. I know they did this to save space but I personally don't like it. Made me rethink purchasing this pedal. Your review was very helpful. BTW, I am newly retired and just getting back to guitar after a multi-year absence.
In fairness, he said he had just returned to music so that's a caveat I was mindful of and I'm sure that will change with experience. You can also FF if you want to get to sounds.
