I played Kush in this battle. The Roman player did an incredible job baiting me and flanking my armored shotel warriors. It took me too long to realize what he was doing in that breach point

@@kishankashyap1834 Please tell me that you where trolling when you asked that question? Do you really think that you can play a game on official servers, when you have "stolen" the game? Don't get me wrong.... I "Steal" to... But that question was just to much out there in fantasy land to be real.. :-) (When you don't buy it... Be prepared to only game in singleplayer) I see it as a way to try the game as a demo version until I decide if it is good enough, to spend hard earned cash on to get the opportunity to game online proper.. :-)

I just had my first multiplayer battle today :D Thinking I learned enough from your videos... I was wrong. lol I mean, I'm learning a lot from your vids and comments, but still I made huge mistakes that I learned from. Still it was a ton of fun and I really enjoyed a more complicated battle then letting the AI run at my pikes. Overall I love these videos of yours and the fact that they made me do multiplayer battles after years of playing Total War games. Keep it up! :D

Omg the settlement looks like the royal city in the Mummy with that scene where the undead army that looks like some sort of wolf human hybrid attacking the ancient Egyptian city in a flashback with them telling the story of the scorpion king

To sum up the fight I think the lone Roman army losing it's ranged attack early was huge as the defenders were able to get huge numbers of kills with their own archers. Also all attackers are equally at blame for not opening more gaps. They forced themselves into choke points where the towers kept firing on them and defender pikes/archers were able to capitalize.

the elephants where the general unit for the Kush player.... I just had to point that out since it was a good move when you think about the low morale they usually have (due to running amok) the general (unit) have much less of that..:-)

I never understood the concept of fighting on the walls. I get the hell off the walls as fast as possible because the arrow towers will just shred you. And if you don't have a ballista, Tortoises are the best to punch a hole in walls.

The reason rome did not see the cav at the start was becouse he was busy sending his siege towers to the walls, the reason he atacked the walls so early was becouse he was focussing on the cav sallyout and not paying Attention to his siege towers slowly moving to the walls
