@@TyFarms because when fords show up to the site we park there so that they don’t go and get stuck there then at the end of the day we just drive right out,, it saves us time from having to pull a ford out
You don't know how many of these newer chevys fail the cams and lifters obviously lol. I tear these down one or 2 times a month, sometimes below 100k miles
That’s all Chevy drivers they always try to say that fords are broke down but my grandpa has towed 11 Chevys with his ford and it’s literally never broke down. It’s a 1986 ford too
Nah this is stuck. The thing is it’s not even about brand. If any truck had a lift on it, nothing would get stuck. This video shows exactly why I think you shouldn’t keep the stock suspension.
When my mom still had her 98 Chevy Astro AWD, she would be able to drive through about 2 feet of snow and still not get stuck unless it slid into a ditch. Even with bad black ice and everything. My dad used to have a 99 Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 with a 5.3, he got his truck stuck and my mom had to pull him out. My mom's van only had the 4.3 V6 Vortec
That’s a Bravada or a NA Typhoon with its segmented frame like a 69 Camaro it was the work mule Mini van. Some came with the steel block/head combo a true workhorse.
@@erikcopeland gmt800 is the race truck of choice for most people. strong, reliable, and most importantly, cheap!! can't say that about 90% of trucks/suvs since
Not the body chevy trucks rust the worst and all have engine lights on... pos buy a Ford aluminum body that's why a 2015 Ford vs 2015 anything the Ford is about 30% more cuz it is worth it
@@Dreambig62 no its not cheap steal rusts aluminum oxidate but u still have a truck a chevy can literally crumble to nothing over time where ford will not... and notice the new 2020 models are starting to be built with aluminum after gm gave for so much crap now they follow the leader...
@@jamesgo6517 love the fact you’re commenting on this video to a lot of people on if it’s stuck or with no 4x4? You know not every truck has a 4x4 sticker and can have it right?💀, you just reply to every comment don’t you? Lmao
Idk why some chevy and ford onwers beef so much i have a Chevy and i still show my dodge ford and chevy bros love even work with a couple we talk alittle shit but its all for play. Nothing but respect for the guy's i even get some guidance when I'm figuring out how to tackle a problem with a part that needs to be replaced.
I love how some of yall are grown ass men still licking a brands rear behind. It dont matter what you like,a dodge,a toyota,a ford a chevy, all brand trucks can get broken down at some point. Depends on how the owner takes care of there vehicles
@@vicenterojas85 I don’t understand how some of these guys can really sit there on a couch typing away what brand is better. Its like if there still in kindergarten arguing who brought the best toy to recess🤦♂️
Every Chevy I have had has been reliable meanwhile all the fords I’ve owned have had transmission problems or engine problems of course you’ll lick a brands rear behind when they are built superior with less problems it keeps money in your pocket rather than having to shell out money
@@fuckdapolice8170 Like i said it all depends if n the owner,im not sure how much exact care or how you used your vehicles. But regardless everything has an end to it sooner or later, things will last longer is taken care of and used properly.
I do gravel pit’s and all you see is chevys. That’s a worker’s truck because they are reliable. You see fords at starbucks and at an office setting. You see dodge broken down hauling rvs.
bro 90 of chevys down here in texas are cruiser you see the fords putting in the work i see more 99 2v still puttin in work than any thing chevy its own age
My Rubicon is constantly fishing some stuck Chevy out of sand or some mudhole down here in Florida. Literally, it's always a Chevy. Never fished a Chevy out of a paved neighborhood though. If he got stuck there he wouldn't even make it down my damn driveway here in the back woods of Florida.
Idiots always get stuck at the beach because they mash the gas and dig a hole. A friend had a Cherokee and thought he'd do some 4wheelin at low tide until it sank up to the doors. ✌
I worked at a copper mine that had all Ford work trucks. Then, for some reason the company decided to buy some Chevys. It didn't take long for the 4 wheel drive on the Chevys to break and we're getting hauled out of the mud by the old Ford trucks. Those were the last Chevys the company has bought and it's was all Ford since then.
I can't wait for another couple of years when all 'pickups' have 6 doors, seat 8 people and only have a 2 foot bed. These are not trucks anymore, they're mini vans
It’s not stuck, the Chevy is showing off it’s off-road capabilities that fords are not capable of. Plus, last time I checked, Chevys are also capable of driving 1 mile without breaking down unlike a ford.
Im a chevy man always will be but i wish they'd start making the good ole parts in the usa again. Not in Mexico these newer trucks have some crapy parts in em.❤
