Unveiling someone's heart after it's been hurt can be hard but getting to heal it with grace and no sense of ownership over the persons growth is so rewarding. Doesn't always need to be in a romantic breath, can be in friendship too. We're forgetting that not everything is a lost cause.
I just found this movie to be an awkward représentation of our socierty, where we pracrically beg for love even when the other person literally says to us "no". I mean, if it is love, shouldn't be much easier, without red flags all over. I mean, I just found it discourage to just go out there and beg for somebodys attention when it should have been mutual from the beggining.
People are imperfect. They carry their experiences with them, both the good and the bad. People also put up armor for fear of getting hurt, like in Sam’s case. For as long as people remain imperfect the process of getting them to open up will remain so. Just a bit of a different perspective, hope this is of intrigue to you.
