Thunderstorm and tornado threats were all around this weekend! Cassie was home alone and the herd of mini donkeys escaped.. Gary also got stuck in the storm when trying to do chores, with all the bad news we have some good news about turkeys hatching! Thanks for watching and God Bless!

We are so thankful that Arms Family and the Baker families are all safe, I know Deejay and Dusty’s mom lost her store. The damage is heartbreaking, they need all our prayers and $$ if any have some to give. Love the new chicks and watching them grow up, happy you got much needed rain, but sorry Gary had to get so wet.

Glad you are all safe. You’re getting some good needed moisture for your fields and gardens. Sad to hear about Sulphur and the damage, they’re definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Good morning, Gary and Cassie! I have been praying for those folks down in Oklahoma who were affected by the tornadoes and the storms. Not only were there folk who lost homes and livelihoods due to the tornadoes, but the rain caused massive flooding in some areas. Sherman's Family Farm lost everything but the house and maybe a couple of pigs due to flooding. But everything else is gone, and they will have to rebuild somehow. There are so many to pray for. 🙏💖🙏

I got same incubator I learned quick humidity trick if low put warm water in it. Humidity shoots up fast. Glad you guys are safe 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️

Little Annie is just precious. Prayers for Sulphur. My Sister lives there out by the lake. They got no damage. So scary though. 😮❤ Edited to add. Im a horse nut. And equine will undo that chain on the gate. Put the chain back through the hole, it will keep your donkeys lips from opening the gates. Thats how i think they got out. By twitching their lips on the chains. I had a horse that did that. They are smart. ❤😊

Our donkeys twitch their lips on the chains on our gates so we always put the chain through the hole to latch it securely. Glad you were safe from all the Oklahoma tornadoes. Sending prayers for all who were affected the past few days.

Cassie you can take an egg that is struggling with hatching from being too dry and wet a cloth really wet with warm water and place the egg in it and make sure to wet the entire shell and use tweezers to remove the shell partially or atleast a good bit of it to help it hatch sometimes you have to assist them when they are struggling to save them I have saved numerous chicks doing this

In my experiances with hatching turkeys some hatch early and others later in a 2 or 3 day period. Don't give up early you may get more. Prayers also for all of the midwest that had tornatos this weekend.

Great advice on checking land for flooding during bad weather before buying....This is also good advice for home purchasing in the city...my house in high and dry when other neighborhood homes are flooding ❤
